Unsure. It was probably a bet I made that lost that caused this. I went back to bet history but it's not showing which bets I made. Thanks for looking into this.

Every time I read some SBR update about their plans and reasons for closing the Store I want to grab a shovel cause the shit just gets deeper with each passing month.
The negative responses of many long-term posters is because
1. New SBR management lied for 12 months
2. BSed about re-opening the SBR Store so posters could continue to Redeem points that they have "Earned" year after year. Posters who have accumulated thousands of points are literally getting screwed, because I'm sure they like most of us had plans to redeem for things they had their eyes on for a long time in the Store.
3. SBR tries to tell us that the Store closing and the changes to Points redemption to come is because they are promoting US Regulated books instead of Offshore books. Completely different topics, I would say. Store point redemption doesn't have anything to do with what Books are being promoted nor with what books each and every poster chooses to use.

In the most basic of terms, new SBR looks to be replacing an In-N-Out Burger with a White Castle.
Let's be real, new SBR management has offered nothing but false promises and Contests with Points that can not be redeemed for anything.

That all may come true and if it does then that is great because it’s more than most sites offer. However you can’t ignore that it has been 14+ months now and there have been countless posts laying out plans for points and the store that were completely abandoned.

So I think it is understandable if the vast majority of posters are pessimistic about the promises being made at this point.

I think most posters here are looking for a business plan that will benefit the company and the stake holders. Like the above post states, it has been over a year and we (posters) as one of the company's major stake holders are still in the dark. Last year at this time we were told the new owners were on vacation and will be back with answers after the 1st, didn't happen. I will not rehash everything that has happened since then.

Will there be any cash contests that allow basketball games to be chosen from? I'm sure this has been asked before, but why do NFL, and NCAAFB lines get put up with consistency, while other sports are not? Why is it easier to "access" the football lines?

In my opinion if the new owners are receiving the affiliate money, then they should let everyone redeem their points for Bitcoin or gift cards under the pricing that was in place when they bought SBR. If John is still collecting the affiliate money from our sign-ups, then he should be on the hook to cover the points.

I'll answer your question: yes he does!

And on the new site, they still offer points... I mean 'coins', as they call them now, for sportsbook cash - mostly the same books too. Except, since we already signed up as new customers to get into the promo here, we can't also do it there and simply switch and continue there. Maybe someone should open a thread on their forum, highlighting the issue. Pretty funny that the new SBR is stuck with useless points, while the previous clique continues to profit off of all the old SBR signups and wagering on top of having basically the same new site set up where everything is the way it used to be here.

I've had the pleasure of meeting John on a few of the trips. He seemed pretty sharp. If he got a good price for selling SBR and he gets to keep the affiliate revenue from sign-ups since 2005, he is even sharper than I thought. Kudos to John if that is the case.
