The Bullseye team took a nose dive in Week 8, turning in a collective 1-4 record. Nowhere to go but up as the squad looks to get back on track in Week 9:
Jon Metler (6-2-0): Houston Texans +13 (-110) vs Philadelphia Eagles
"Since the Philadelphia Eagles have such a high public perception, sportsbooks are posting higher spreads on them than they should be to help combat liabilities. Even though the Eagles are a much better team than the Houston Texans, I do not have them priced 13 points better than the Texans, particularly on the road."
Michael McClymont (5-3-1): L.A. Rams +3 (-110) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
"Sean McVay is 3-0 against the Tom Brady-led Buccaneers over the last two seasons. The Rams don't look like their Super Bowl-winning selves, but neither do the Bucs. As long as Cooper Kupp is playing (and he's expected to), the pass-happy Rams are a matchup nightmare for the sputtering Bucs."
Andrew Brennan (4-4-0): Miami Dolphins -5 (-110) vs Chicago Bears
"Both the Dolphins and Bears were active ahead of the trade deadline, but it'll be the former that gets the immediate boost from those moves. Chase Edmonds - as talented as he is - clearly wasn't working in Miami, so Mike McDaniel reunited Raheem Mostert with former 49ers teammate Jeff Wilson. The addition of Bradley Chubb should also help a Dolphins pass rush that's struggled this season. Miami has the look of a team ready to make a run in the AFC. Now, it just needs its quarterback to stay healthy.
Esten McLaren (2-6-0): Indianapolis vs New England Under 39 (-110)
"This is the lowest Over/Under on the Week 9 slate and it still might be set six points too high. Where are the points going to come from? The Colts just traded running back Nyheim Hines, who ranks fourth on the team in touches and fifth in scrimmage yards; and QB Sam Ehlinger threw for 201 yards in his first NFL start against a Commanders defense ranked 28th against the pass by DVOA. The Patriots are fifth by pass defense DVOA. Mac Jones isn't getting this total over 39 on his own with running back Rhamondre Stevenson finally meeting his match against this Indy run defense."
Sean Tomlinson (1-7-0): Buffalo Bills -11.5 (-110) vs N.Y. Jets
"Did you know that only about 30% of salmon survive to spawn twice? Yet, that rate for doing an intensely rigorous and treacherous upstream journey a second time is significantly higher than my hit rate here. Anywho, the Jets were able to stay with the Patriots for much of their game in Week 9 because neither team boasts a daunting offense. Now too much will be asked of the Jets' defense against a Bills team that's recorded three 20-plus-point wins in 2022."

Picks look strong this week and you're off to a good start with Houston cashing on TNF. Looks like a potential 3-2 or 4-1 week with Buffalo being the the only one that I really am unsure about just because I don't like laying doubles very often.
