    Analytics doesn't factor in momentum. If he takes 3 pts they have all the momentum if they don't get it they lose momentum

    i've been watching football for 40 years and never saw a coach go for it in a tie game with less than 5 minutes left. you are actually saying you don't trust your defense. but they actually would have got you to overtime with a chance to win.

    I remember old school Harbaugh would kick the field goal in that situation nearly 98% of the time. This analytics crap in the NFL is the stupidest thing ever.

    Take the 3 point lead. More than likely Buffalo would just play conservative... and just go for the tying field goal... so.... let them go for it. It's like you were scared to go into OT with them???

    Anything can happen when Buffalo has the ball... down by 3.... turnover... injury... even the weather wasn't PERFECT.... like I said... anything can happen.. Lamar isn't that CLUTCH... he never was. Why go for it on 4th down? Harbaugh has too much faith in that Fred G. Sanford looking dump. Furthermore, Harbaugh needs to get his head checked.

    At the presser Harbaugh said he went for it because if they take the field goal it puts more pressure on their defense because Buffalo is now in four down territory.thats complete b.s. if buffalo is in field goal range they're going to take three points to tie the game not go for the win

    Analytics can never take into account momentum. One of my old school coaches used to say, "If you can't get 7 on 3 downs, what makes you think you're going to get 7 it on 4th down?" Kick the damn FG.

    Well yeah looking back it makes sense kick the fg

    But imo they kick the field goal they still lose. Sure they have momentum, but the Bills have Allen and he wasn't being stopped any time soon from what I could tell

    But, it will never be answered. Who knows.

    But yea Harbaugh makes some crazy moves. I think the team has won 22 preseason games in a row, for reasons I guess only Harbaugh can figure out.

    How about yesterday the Redskins (sorry Commanders) had a chance to kick a fg with what, about 8 minutes left cut the deficit to 9. But they go for it on 4th and 10 or whatever cause they're thinking it doesn't help you need 2 scores. But if you get the fg you only need a touchdown and a fg

    That was a game where the Redskins could barely move the ball. You take the points.
