Some calculators and line watching can be hlepful.

Take your own handicapping, and then seek the "true" no vig lines, but remember this takes some experience and consistent book comparisons to be able to identify, or at least have a chance to identify, manipulation meant to stear you wrong.

I was going to make some videos showing how to make these calculators, but there many onine tools as well.

In the Knowing Your Markets video you can see how best to analyize a forward or lagging sharp market to best determine the no vig line being massaged into by the books and bettors.

We can calculate the current no vig line, but if you are dealing more real time and getting amore accurate no vig line like explained in the video, you will go a long way towards succes or at least seeing what's needed for success.

Polo, I even thought about video updates showing my calculations for current no vig lines and current push rates and price points for points being dealt in the market place.

But things do change and even once a day video might not be enough.

The only other thing to add could be one of the most overlooked posts I've posted in a long time.

For sports like the NFL, if you are going to find something valuable, it's most often going to lie in the alternate lines....unless you are betting very early....

I wonder if posters realize that this could be the most useful post in this whole thread.

I even considered deleting it, but now I'm bumping it.

Know your markets, of course, but also know your alternates in the major sports, if that's where you want to profit, as inefficiencies abound.

Many bettors just don't know.

It depends. You win some, you lose some, but margins are almost always super tight.

But the best place for edges can be found in the alternate lines. They don't always move and price according to the math and the market can vary significantly.

Another place to go can be prop and halftimes, and the two together.

There are ways to try to pile onto the edges, when they do surface.

It depends on the nature of your own predictions, and the market itself. Sometimes betting early opens up doors later in the week.

But the NFL can be tough, that's for sure.
