Peavy, I love how people overreact to everything these day. Well there is the response, absolute drubbing of Pirates today to take the lead back. And please correct me if I am wrong but there isn't one playoff team, not even the Dodgers, that can say they lead the season series against the Mets. Dodgers, Braves, Phillies, Padres, or the Cards. Mets have handled them all. deGrom sensational again to completely destroy the Pirates and after all the bullshit they lead once again. I mean I get it, I am a Mets fan, I know they have blown shit in the past and have been horrible most years but people talking shit this year. There is only one team, in baseball, that has a better record and we beat them in the season series. We are tied for 2nd with the Astros. I love this shit man. Lets just say we take 2nd to the Braves in the division, I could care less. No matter what team we face in the National league, we have beat them and now they will face deGrom and Scherzer back to back. Good fukin luck pal .

We have to hold our breathe on both of those guys. They can go down with injury if the wind blows too hard.

If we have to play in the wild card round ( which I don’t think they will) we wouldn’t have the aces available for the first game or two of the ALDS. It’s very important that we win the division.
