i did lyft years ago fortunatley lucky i knew when to drive and who p/u mostly professionals like lawyers doctors etc...

in a 4 day week driving 8 hours in prime time i averaged $1500 + but then i read here that an uber driver and lyft driver were shot

Rideshare passenger injured after shot during ride in central Las Vegas Valley



LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A rideshare passenger was injured early Monday morning after she was shot during a ride in the central Las Vegas Valley.


According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred at about 3:35 a.m. near Valley View and Charleston.


According to police, a male driver was operating a rideshare vehicle to transport a female passenger to the area of Decatur and Charleston. Police say a male suspect exited an SUV, approached the rideshare vehicle and engaged in a brief conversation before shooting multiple rounds into the rideshare car.


Police say a female passenger who was in the back seat was struck at least one time.


The suspect fled the area and is still at large.


The rideshare driver transported the female to the hospital where she in in stable condition and is expected to survive.

Same here, I've taken cab rides on the meter for $7 that are $11 on uber. Uber is much more expensive, plus I trust the licensing and insurance of a legit cab company far more than some rando with a Prius and the uber app.

Same here, I've taken cab rides on the meter for $7 that are $11 on uber. Uber is much more expensive, plus I trust the licensing and insurance of a legit cab company far more than some rando with a Prius and the uber app.

That's what I found out as well when I took a cab last month.. It's almost half cheaper then Uber. Taking a taxi cab from where I live in Santa Monica to LAX is way cheaper then UBER. It's just a fact!

Once in a bar pick up near Nellis AFB. The guy was waiting for me outside the bar. Major redflag as you have to go in the the bar and wait.

The other guy robbed me in a casino near downtown as I went into pee. He saw me go in and followed me. Gave me a beating. Luckily not with his knife hand. I should have peed in my usual spot the Nugget.

Both guys were caught within days and got about 40 from me.
