Are you using them as an exchange? I haven’t used them in over a year but they were still anonymous as long as you only used the wallet and didn’t buy/sell crypto. Blockstream Green is anonymous and fairly easy to use, BTC only though.

Nope, just as a wallet. They are requiring verification to send and receive BTC into my wallets that I have had for years. Super annoying. Thank god I drained my account gambling!

Gaucho Loco, this is extremely disappointing coming from a Sureno like yourself. You know the ins and outs of this industry. I use Edge my friend, use Edge and all your problems will go away. See you Sunday for prayer.

If you don't buy/sell on Blockchain you don't need to do it. I routinely hold crypto there for short periods of time and withdraw to my Blockchain wallet all the time. It has the pop up with their requirements to do the KYC but if you aren't buying crypto from them you dont have to do it.

In all seriousness I haven't heard of this happening unless you are buying coins through their platform. Their wallet has been anonymous and reliable forever which is why it was a little shocking to get that message. It's not like I am even moving a lot of btc.

Thanks Crusherr. It took a little maneuvering but it looks like you can still use the wallet without KYC. I had to click their pop up twice to get around it.

    FansUnite tried it in 2017-2018.

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/darrenh...h=49bbf39af3bf

    https://fansunite.com/

But I don't what ever really became of it.

This is from the Forbes article link above from Dec 2017...

...FansUnite.com currently offers a free virtual currency, allowing users to place fantasy wagers with no monetary risk. However, in the near future, the company seeks to harness the power of the Ethereum blockchain. The concept is that users will be able to actually bet on sports as they would in traditional sportsbooks, but with FanUnite's own digital currency. A typical bettor who wins 52% of the time at a sportsbook may end up losing money based on a sportsbook's margins. FansUnite is seeking to change the game with their lower margins provided based on lower operating costs, allowing users an enhanced ability to actually profit from their bets.

Use of its own currency and blockchain technology is also supposed to increase transparency and security for FansUnite bettors by storing all pertinent bet information on the blockchain — leaving an immutable and auditable record of each bet. The assumption is that use of the blockchain reduces the risk of bets being reneged or canceled post-match as well. Also, the use of a single, new currency is projected to accelerate the process of depositing and withdrawing funds and to remove the need for inefficient wires or money transfers...
