Headed to Niagara Falls, how's the Casinos?

I haven't been there in 15 years. Casino Niagara seemed decent back then, even though I won like $4k CAD and it was only worth like $2k USD at the time.

Are there other spots? I thought there was an Indian casino near Toronto? I don't recall crap tables??? Any stupid table game rules?

If you want to play poker, Casino Niagara. Next to CN is Fallsview Casino which has more tables and games, better interior than CN. If you visit Toronto, Woodbine Casino is very good, lots of baccarat tables and slots and horses, but no poker. But all these brick & mortar places are useless now, just gamble online with live tables.

mac what do u play ?

if u want poker Casino Niagara..... i think u have a fam the sheraton attached to it has an indoor water park i was just there a couple weeks ago my son enjoyed it.

Fallsview casino about a six minute drive from the sheraton has better selection of table games and two craps tables. The italian restuaraunt inside fallsview is amazing they have this encrusted veal dish its penetrating dynamite and not too pricey.

You wont find any other casinos close to niagara area the other close ones are on the US side of niagara and pretty run down.

Woodbine would be closest which is an hour 15 away from niagara but there game selection is garbage any blackjack games are continous shuffle.

If you want horses Fort Erie is a track around 25 min from niagara horses only run Monday and Tuesday tho

Oh and if your visiting toronto downtown @ the ex they have poker aswell little bit steeper rake.

The tables games there are charity rules so not worth playing whatsoever.

Yea, PLO is the big game they run on Fri/Sat, I've never played it, I'm just 1/3 and 2/5. Many of them in the big games and 2/5 are regulars, they've been there for yrs. Not accusing any of them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have pieces of each other, or possibly low level collusion.

i used to play 3-4 times a week @ fallsview years ago.... 60% of the regs are the same players not sure if they collude but they def know each others playing styles.

You got plenty of tourists on the weekend though....

Also call in if u wabna play poker MAC the 1/3 2/5 lists usually have 60+ people on them.

I used to go play 2-5 5-10 and occasionally limit poker if they had a bigger game at fallsview years ago. Those games were very soft. If you couldn’t beat them, then you couldn’t win. No idea how casino Niagara is now but I know fallsview doesn’t have a room anymore.

Yes, but NF, NY has literally some of the best food in the World. Especially if you like Italian.

I was born in NF and most my family still in the area. Will be up at the end of the month. Just one casino on US side. Seneca Niagara. Not a bad place but nothing to write home about.

City, if you can even call it that anymore, is very dilapidated with ghetto focks and drugs everywhere. Run down unkempt houses worth $40-80k from the 1930s. Very sad. It is sort of like a mini-Detroit.

Depends when in September. The Toronto Film festival will be there I think on the 10th. Good luck finding a hotel anywhere near downtown. I highly recommend a dinner cruise around Toronto, the CN Tower for lunch with great views of the city. We’ve been in Toronto for 3 days and still haven’t seen the Hockey HOF. We keep driving past it in the car. It must be small. Harbor 60 is a must for dinner. Incredible but will set you back a pretty penny. Well worth it.

We’re staying at a hotel where a lot of tennis players were at for a big Toronto tournament. I don’t even know what it was but I met Coco Gauf and her parents in the lobby. She had just won the doubles title (I should have bet it). I saw one other girl player (can’t think of her name) going for a jog the night before her match all by herself. Wearing tight, tight Lululemon pants. Fine.

Headed to the Sheratonfallsview tomorrow. Thanks for all the advice.

Midtown - Yorkville village is a nice spot north of downtown. Lots of shops, restaurants and girl watching. The Toronto museum and Toronto university (Varsity Blues?) is down the street. That area is really huge during TIF. Harry Styles is performing in Toronto last night and tonight. Crazy folks in Boas, leather sequined pants everywhere. LOL

I talked to a guy who is fed up with Canada’s gun laws. He said a new law will soon ban purchasing any gun? Is that true? The Covid rules also killed his business. He wants to move to Texas. I told him he could get a gun in Texas with no training, no wait and just a drivers license and his eyes lit up. Not sure that’s a good thing. Haha

If you played 20 40 limit, I'm sure we did play together at least once. I probably went up there 5-10 weekends a year about 15 years ago. Once my area got live games, I rarely went after that. Wouldn't mind going back though sometime.
