Well obviously I'm talking about the finals version of Dragic (i.e 2 years ago). Yeesh, low IQ on here.

Money is coming in on the Celtics. I saw -153 last night and now the best I see is -175. That surprises me a little... I feel like it will be a close series.

This is the crux of the equation. Boston likely has a plus w/p versus GS with an inferior team over the last 5 years because they have a multitude of perimeter defenders. What they can't or have difficulty defending is the interior without Rob Williams.

Homie ... Miami heat a great team and basically the same as 2020 version but more mature now.

And the C's aren't more mature from 1-3 years ago? These are 22-24 yr olds who have been to the conference finals what 3 times now.

    Maddie,
It was in reply to another poster saying that Miami lost 2Y ago and my point was Miami lost to lebron and the lakers and are more mature now. Btw the biggest dawg on the floor is Jimmy butler. Anyone who played organized ball knows what I'm talking about. You need an alpha dawg on your team.

No one not even Tatum is as big a dogg as jimmy. Major league doggggg

Take Celts at Plus $ Game 1 - If they lose they'll be around Even for the series. I'm confident they'll get one at Miami.

I played my share of organized ball and coached a bit. To be fair I really only watch the C's so my intimate knowledge of MIA/Butler is limited. I'll be interested to see firsthand your comments on Butler (He'll certainly get some defensive pressure). Interestingly, someone wrote an article highlighting how Butler was nearing the end of the road and for Butler vs Tatum, how the most pressure was on Butler.

FWIW, the scheduling of some of these series is open to question. MIL/BOS played first 3 games in 7 days, and now BOS needs to travel to rested MIA team on 36 hours rest???

They were arguably the best team the last 3 months of the season, and their winning point margin was second to none.

I think it's a joke Ime Udoka finished 5th in Coach of the Year.

With all that being said, they live and die by the 3. Look at some of the teams they lost to (worst in the league) and those they beat. MIA better defend the 3 or hope BOS has off nights, which they are certainly capable of.

I believe there a whole bunch of teams out there who would love to have J Brown, and R Williams. There's not a whole lot to not like about either.

First of all this in reference to this post and the bottom..
Wtf does regular season have to do w playoffs first of all?
Look what Trey Young did end of the season and Miami shut him down.
Miami is better 3 pt team than Boston
Only thing Miami lacks is size.
Udoka is prodigy of Popovich so of course he would pick up some of his traits
J brown is an average to ok at best and R Williams has size but injury prone
In fact I would take Theis before him anyday

FLOPSton is unwatchable. Would love to see them go down to the Heat. For no reason other than the constant flopping and baiting of the officials.

Boston are a good road team, they will at least win 1 of the 2 Miami home games so taking Boston game 1 and if they lose going to double up, really believe they're a very good team and will beat heat inside 6 games

WOW, I'd like to take the ML on Theis versus Williams. You are dead wrong there.

And seriously without D Robinson who I'll give you, there aren't many better 3 pointing shooting teams than the C's. Look up some stats as to where Smart compares last 3 years ago or so in top 3 % shooters. He was like 3rd to Curry and 1 other. I get it, he's infuriating, 1-6 one night and 5-6 the next but the stats are crazy stupid.

Boy, for the most part I'll give you this, but the entire league is plagued with it. Udoka , quoted after game 3 (I think) , we need to learn to flop better. MIL no slouch to flopping.

BOS, baiting/complaining to REFS does nothing less than hurt them. I'm biased arguably, but I think they got the worst of the calls in the MIL series. Let me know when they stop letting the freak stop creating offensive fouls with his left hand. It's near criminal.

    Duncan Robinson?
    Barely plays for us now
Strus is a better 3 pt than him
    And didn’t even mention Herro
I’ll take tucker in the right hand corner over anyone on the court shooting a 3

Arguably, I only watch BOS. What the hell happened to Robinson. I did read that he hadn't been playing a whole lot, but wasn't he one of the best 3 point shooters in the NBA?

    Robinson
To me was never that good
    Overachieved in rookie season
Once got his contract went downhill
    A defense liability
Not a 3 pt specialist at all

Yea he recently has only if it’s temp, he’s injury prone because he is “heavy” & he’s rusty no in-game rhythm currently. He needs to stay his ass on the bench.
