Overpaying for a steak..... sides look like the sides were put together by my 3 year old.

Had a Cote de Boeuf at a great steak house for my birthday last week.
Was most expensive steak I've ever ordered at $115
Only have a photo halfway through, but it was damn impressive looking to start with at 2½ pounds.

I eat salad and fruit everyday. Do not eat processed food like donuts, cake, frozen meals, etc.
So a meat eater who eats processed meats is not the same as someone who buys the meat fresh and makes it into burgers or steaks or grilled chicken or pork chops.
It's the preservatives, salt and chemicals in the processed meat that are bad and not necessarily the fresh meat.

Try raw foods and juicing for a good portion of your diet. You can still have cheat days or weekends. You don't have to go all Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, but replacing meals with juices and fresh pressed will not only help you shed pounds but your energy level will start to skyrocket. Your body will start to detox within a few days.

The only formula you need to lose weight is eating less cals than you burn. It is that simple. It would help for a lot of your cals to come from lean protein and veggies though and to stay away from sugar, even if its natural like fruit. Originally Posted by The Kraken
