    LOL

NFL is just a push over for blacks.

They need a black coach associated w their Wonderboy to legitimize the concept.

Tomlin never won anything without Cowhers QB, it's been 15 years since Dungy won w Manning....they need a good image/ photo op

Wow, stick a fork in Tampa. Bowles is a disaster as a head coach. Even Brady won't help him much.

Reports were Arians pissed he got no credit for the Super Bowl run. Now he quits and leaves them a dumpster fire in Bowles.

Bowels could not get along with any one in Miami. What will change in Tampa.

    Nothing.

Why do you say he quit? They gave him a better job at the front office.

He had a partially ruptured achilles that he aggravated during the year.

Pretty sure that's what we're seeing in that video above.

You would have thought leftwich would be the coach that got promoted. Bowles was awful as a head coach. After all the whining and bitching you have 3.5 black head coaches considering the one in Miami says he counts as half black

    Correct.

He's 69, he doesn't have the energy to walk up and down the sidelines for four months any longer.
He doesn't have to travel, maybe a couple of times a year max.

That front office gig is pretty much a 9 to 5 office job, and he brings to the front office more than ten empty suits combined.

It's not a Brady thing, Brady has one season left.

Nash is right about the hours cut. I read the bill parcells book and he told his fiancée he would be home by dinner and not have to travel to road games anymore. Head coaches putting in 100 plus hours in season. Old geezer men can’t do it

The NFL slipped the Bucs a bunch to hire a black head coach.

It's 100% about the photo ops of Brady/ Bowles and him winning 10 games.

Now, if the Bucs regress, and Brady takes to social media, this is going to get UGLY

I agree with this. I thought they'd struggle with Arians. Their schedule is very difficult. The only thing they have going is the weak division, but who knows what the other teams will eventually put on the field.

The Arians retirement doesn't pass. Why did he wait until March 30, just 2 weeks after Brady comes back? Now you can say he did that to make sure one of his assistants got the head job, waiting until the other teams all hired. But that was never in doubt regardless of when he quit. Bowles or Leftwich would have gotten the job if he quit in January.

Arians will do a year behind the scenes then likely put his name out there for a job in 2023, and yes, at 71 he'd still get hired if the team was a ready to win team. He "retired" in Arizona when the team had no QB and was awful when he left, only to tell all teams he was ready to coach 1 year later.

Brady made a huge mistake here. He originally signed a 2-year deal, and after the Super Bowl, he extended it for a third year. If he didn't do that, he could have walked and went anywhere. Now, he's stuck in Tampa for another year until he can go somewhere else. I don't believe he's playing one more year, I think he plays at least 2 more.

I agree he's overrated, and I bet his loose ways irked Brady. Funny, Brady wanted away from Belichick because he was too strict, but once Tampa won a title, he wanted a Belichick type coach to ride the players hard, which Arians would never do.

Rumor has it, and I can't prove a rumor, but it's rumored Brady once told Belichick "Just stick to defense"
