    Not sure. It's been so long since a competing league has caught on.

    Can't really say that the CFL is a Minor League. The rules are quite a bit different. You don't see that many CFL players crossing over to NFL. A few but not many many annually.

    The NFL for sure needs a developmental league. I think NFL Europe was the best "minor league" to date. Produced Kurt Warner and Jake Delhomme:

    All of the regular season games are being played in Birmingham this year. I might take a 3 hour drive to catch a couple of them. I believe the tickets are just $10 a piece.

    Why would they not want their own s***? They missed a big opportunity. They should of taken a page out of Oregon’s book. Their main goal in designing uniforms should of been to make them unique from NFL. They could of gotten a buzz going about the league if they would of designed better color schemes instead of some that have been around for decades. Those things look straight out of 1996.

    This reminded me of a local sports league that started up many years ago... the first season they had flag football, we had only four teams playing.. and two teams were shades of orange. Was ridiculous.
