Like I said, par for the course... You got a little excitement tonight in the 2nd half.

I don't recall many Super Bowls that were wall to wall excitement.

NFL regular season > NBA regular season

    but

    NBA Finals > Super Bowl

And it's not even close on either front.

NFL playoffs were incredible this year. NBA playoffs are mostly boring.

I can't watch the nba much. Just an awful product.

But I was comparing the final events of each sport.

The Super Bowl is supposed to put the exclamation mark on the season but more often then not it feels like a comma.

Fade that. I'm expecting the NBA playoffs to be tremendous this season without Lebron ruining it.

I think it has to do with 2 weeks off and in between they give you a fake game and this one is as much circus as football. I wish it was just right after the conference championship

Bengals were trash, it was a miracle they were even in the SB, they’ll win 8 games max next year and won’t even make the playoffs

One of the worst games we've seen. NFL needed the Rams to win to justify their move to LA after stealing them from STL. Now McVay and Donald can retire, OBJ tore his ACL and Stafford can go back to throwing pick sixes next season.

One of the most boring Superbowl's and I had the Bengals +4. Got no rush, no excitement. The playoffs on the other hand were great this year and had me on the edge of my seat. I don't know, just felt like a sleeper even though it came down to the last drive. I guess that was the best part obviously.

We have had some good ones:

Rams/Titans with McNair reaching out an inch short
Pats/Seahawks with an INT at the goal line
    Wide Right
    Montana's drive against the Bengals
Pats unbelievable comeback against the Falcons
Giants upsetting the the 18-0 Pats
Eagles/Pats the Foles vs Brady show- combined 80 points

I could go on and on. At least this was better than the last few we have had. It was a close game

This thread was created to divert from lakerboy's +170 Bengals ML loss.

He can't take it like a man. Reminds me of the tale of the fox who couldn't reach the grapes because they were too high and called them sour.

The playoff games to get to SB were so awesome the final seemed a bit of a let down.
By football standards it was still an exciting finale......unless ya lost. hahahaha

i still think Mahomes laid down because he refused to lose 2 SB in a row

he didn't make it look good at the end of regulation just standing there till he had guys coming at him

3rd and goal stands there no pressure and ignores Kelce crossing goal line being open but didn't get the pass fired to him

    OT

1st down... fires it over a guys head for no reason in the flat without even trying to go through reads

2nd down, tried to throw a pick 6

3rd down... waits waits and fires it deep to a small WR with 2 guys on him...

it's just another eye opener that opened my eyes to what was coming in the SB, a rig for the Rams win ... which we got
