D K , is propaganda pseudo logic to mock anyone that disagrees with accepted social norms or bias.
    Just like Occam's razor.
The fact is you can point DK in either direction.
It's pointless and contradictory , depending on who uses it.

Bengals run way more impressive than rams run. Rams have hardly dominated any team all season. The rams barely beat the niners unimpressively other than a late sack by Donald who is overestimated in his singular role in the Super Bowl.

Like others said, no way could the rams beat the chiefs and the Bengals beat them twice, with the latter game being at arrow head in the afc championship game. Bengals continue to be underrated and this is where Joey b and company thrives.

    Good times......

Post #51 was always my fave. FIRST play of FIRST playoff game somehow would reflect on the way the team would play in the Super Bowl.

I couldn't remember who did this post but now I have after reading this thread.

True. Joe Burrow Bengals defeated Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes who are the two best QBs in the league. Joe Burrow is the next greatest QB.

Cincinnati lost to Green Bay 25-22 in OT on October 10, 2021.

That's the point someone made that Cincinnati lost to Green Bay and San Francisco and the Rams are better in defense and just as good or better in offense.

This is a big statement. The guy is not predicting a bad loss or a small margin win. He is not even saying 10-14 points win. He is predicting a blowout like a 49-14 type of a game.

CINCY markedly improved now vs OCT.

that game has no materially impact on capping this game.

The Bengals are a completely different team than in October, Burrow was coming off an ACL injury, Chase is just a rookie. This is a different team.

Yes, I agree that the Bengals have improved since October and playing much better. I can only hope that their O-line holds up and protect Burrow just enough for him to make his throws.

Goat always takes the simple perspective on games, just looks at teams on paper. This is why he was convinced Foles would get blownout by Brady in the super bowl.

    Games aren't played on paper.

It certainly won't surprise me if either team wins this game, but the Rams have had all season to show they could be a great team, they failed to show that.

They were down double digits in the 4th quarter to a team quarterbacked by Jimmy Garrapollo a week ago.

None of that matters. This is not the nba playoffs, this is a one game winner take all. Everything that has happened to this point is irrelevant. Patriots were 18-0 and then lost to the giants in the superbowl. All the ppl in this thread who say "Bengals beat KC twice, Rams couldn't do that," or "Rams were down to the 49ers in the 4th quarter," none of that means anything. It doesn't even matter who the better team is. It doesn't matter who's put up better numbers throughout the year. All that matters is who plays better on Sunday for 60 minutes, and my money says that team is going to be the rams.

Obviously you have to look back to predict the future. The second sentence of your first post talked about the Tennessee-Cincinnati game.

The Rams haven't looked like a great team all year, I don't them looking great here.

It was a reference to the offensive line of the bengals, not really the game itself. I was saying that this Oline is gonna get overwhlemed by donald and miller and all those guys. I believe that will be the case on sunday. It's a one game take all. You cant read to much into who beat who in the nfl, because even if the jags were in the superbowl somehow, lets just say they were, even at 1-15 or wahtever their record is, it is, possible, in a world, that they can beat anyone on any given sunday if they simply play better, if the ball bounces their way, or what have you.

You can't overanalyze the nfl or say "they haven't looked great all year" because none of entire year matters at all when you are preparing for 2 weeks for one single opponent. Look how good the patriots defense looked all year. Most ppl expected the bills to iwn that game, sure, but 50-10 or whatever it was? Patriots defense was pretty much the best defense in the nfl all season. None of those stats mean anything though like i said.

I'm an sbr lurking legend. Been here since I was a senior at SDSU (2010 if I remember correctly). I'll never forget LB betting against my Chargers on the Jets when I went to that game. I was so pissed when Vincent Jackson (RIP) kicked the ref's flag against the Jets. LB had the most ridiculous NBA run back in the day, he was like Jimmy the Greek hitting a crazy percentage but then he cooled off like any gambler. I'm just busting you guys' balls though. I like trolling. But to be fair, you have to be honest. You ALWAYS take the team full of superstars and he ALWAYS takes the dog. It's a weird addiction. Kinda reminds me of my addiction to betting first half unders

Game will likely be low scoring cause of Aaron Donald and Bengals underrated defense (not to mention Stafford is criminally overrated).
Just remember a few weeks ago Rams media (I listen to LA radio all day) was saying it was a bad trade to give up all that for Stafford cause he's an interception machine. The only way it goes over is with ints or fumbles in team's own territory.

They'll have home field but not home crowd. Super Bowl crowds are mostly corporate hacks, just there to be seen and to party. The real fans will be in the "cheap" seats in the upper deck and I'm sure Cincy will be very well supported. Their fans have been saving up since 1988!
