King basketball to the front now

I see where Duke is pulling away in the 2nd half, without the K man on the bench, he's out with a non-covid illness.

Duke was my team this past month after they kicked the Zags butt, and at the Zag's house, too.
For one thing, the POY in my mind, is likley Banchero?
And I think it's a pick-em for the top two big tandem.
Wilianms and Banchero vereses Timme and Holngren.
I see no advantage for those two Zags.

Duke is mow rolling in the 2nd half, but a funny thing, they dropped in the ranks all the way down to 9th and 6th in Monday's poll?
Whoever is ranking these college teams is sleeping on the job I do believe?

    * And again, no Duke/Wake game seen on SBR tonight?

I rarely do this, but with the ugly commotion going on--as usual for me--I am going to stick my neck out early and explain what I think about Baylor's next game. Just do not hold me responsible if you wager too much and lose. This is too big of a responsibility for me and I don't want to see someone lose money because of my picks.
And this may be my last time for who knows when because I know some of the young members believe these old touts on here really know their business.
Not in this evolved world of college basketball, no, I have very serious doubts?

I still say, I don't know the estimated % though, but that 3-ball will likely be the kill shot that wins the game and maybe your wager, too, or the complete opposite? And I mean all basketball games.

I say it's just too damn unpredictable.
But if were coaching college baskets today, I would try and find some Larry Bird-type shooters.
Anyway, like many would think, too, Baylor at home Saturday should be ready to get back in gear as they were before this upset. Okla. St. is coming. We hope?
One more thing: Baylor was at 15/0 and that's great for your college but what's better for the gambler is, guessing, their cover % should have been close to--out of those first 15 victories--right at 75% to 80%, minimum.

    They took few prisoners.

Thanks, Easy-rider. It's a tough racket. And few can survive without screwing up their lives. In fact, it's more of a lock to happen and just may be the only lock a gambler will ever see?

Are you saying you don't watch the Sweet Sixteen? Or have much interest? Basketball nuts go crazy at this time of the year. I see the Final Four, right there with the Super Bowl for the most exciting event of all sports.
You do seem much more like a conservative gambler than I thought?
Maybe you learned to be this way for a good reason?

The Zags are back, and at home against a decent looking BYU team.
Does this mean anything significant;* BYU's last win was at home where they beat St. Marys. The little * I make is, geez, they hit a combined 3-point average in this game of 24.8 %.
Now divide that in two and you get a Three% of 12 %.

They use no center on this team and are going to the Zags den with this ugly *.
So, the Zags sure look good tonight, though, do you ever know for sure what players listed as starters are not feeling some effects of Covid and will even play?

Another Ace these Books are death with.

Does this mean you want to shake the hand of--who agrees--the best all-around player ever, in the NBA? Bird 1st, when healthy, MJ by a razor-edge comes in 2nd.

Sorry, I have worn a protective glove on that hand for 37 years and it's retired.

Wife once said it looks like you have retired "both hands?"

By tournament time Duke should be there But the neutral courts always make it much harder to handicap and the pressure is always on the top teams

I agree. But the very best, the teams that stomp their opponents before getting too close to the Sweet Sixteen, now that does get my attention.
But was that 45 years ago?

10 threes for Gonzaga is absolutey nuts. But, still, only leading by 12 points. That's also nuts.
    Love those threes don't we?

Looks like Timme did plow his way through those BYU forwards? His best game of the year.
And it seems BYU was overrated?

Now, has Gonzaga broke loose from their early troubles? Probably so, but this ain't Baylor or Duke tonight.
Their next toughest contest will be at SF far down the road on Feb 24 and finishes their regular seaason at St. Marys 2 days later.

Headman, you may be in trouble?
*This weak looking schedue just may get the Zags upset in March?

Oops, I somehow missed this Zag home game with St. Marys on Feb. 12, so it seems they have 3 tough games left instead of only two?

Headman, that extra game with St. Marys does change your chances to much better.

How about a hungry Purdue team tonight?
They were #1 [it says?] until Rutgers won a razor-close game at their house. Then, a very tough Wisc. come to Purdue and pulls away in the last minute or so. Afterwards, I noticed [didn't I ?] they were dropped to 7th or so?
Now bcak to #5. But they do have the giant and were #1, 2 weeks ago. I think they want get that higher rank again, sure, but that 20 points is a challenge.

Only because I'll have had fairy nice run--will/did--I play them.
The giant only plays a shade over 2/5 of a game, but he does avg 15 ppg.

If you're on a losing streak, however, you lost doesn't make any difference, you must not hop on a larger wager other than your normal wager. Trying to make up for some losses when "you haven't earned the right," is a recipe for the hanging noose. One of my self-made expressions. It also works if you're doing your regular exercise routine. You have to earn the right to go to another fitness level.

Build some confidence by succeeding at getting that moderate winning streak, first.

Those lousy 3-pointers just may get me beat? One Purdue starter is already 0 for 5.

Here's the wrap-up. Forget Purdue, with two starters going 1 for 13 on threes, they're out of here for national champs.
    And at home, too.
The giant saved me by going 9 of 12 shots, but he missed more freebies than he hit.
And he was leading this team in freethrow %.

Is there never an easy win? I had a liile more on Purdue, giving more points. I lucked out on those wagers.
