Food and Drink Minimums at a Sportsbook?

MGM National Harbor goes live tomorrow at 9:30am. Looks pretty high-end from the pictures. Can reserve seats online but they want $75/pp food and drink for a stadium seat $150/pp for a table or $1,000 total for a VIP area. The casino is in PG County which is rough, but also just minutes from affluent areas of Northern VA and DC. I guess they are trying to keep the homies out.

15 min. From my office. Might swing by, but MD still has BS mask mandate when in the casino. Went to Charles Town in WV couple weeks back, not a mask to be seen. I got the shots and even booster. No interest in wearing a mask at a casino.

    Yeah, me too.
I'm down the road a tad from Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods but there's no way no how I'm masking up or an eight-hour poker tourney.

Trying to price out "Democrats." You know, the ones whose "lives matter." Par for the course in any service field. Sorry not sorry.

JJ never leaves the house, lives alone, and wears a mask in his house.

    It's embarrassing

i looked at the rivers in pittsburgh as a reference point

30 for a seat 150-250 for a table basically for nfl gameday or ufc, looks like you could do it tomorrow for ncaa football even though theres only a few if you count fcs

just says to reserve the seat so im sure food/drink is added on

Circa, Wynn and MGM does this for the reserved seating. I tend to agree with it. Having clowns make their $2.00 bets and sit in there all day is annoying.

Beers $8, not that hard to reach the min. Never saw this before though. The days where they used to give gamblers shit to show up are long gone.

I agree Gamer. Was in Vegas a few years back during March madness and they were selling seats as well. I remember Booya almost beat the shit out of a guy because he was in his seat Classic Booya

I can't mask up for more the 15 minutes or I go nuts. Agreed!!

It's sweaty, fogs your shades, bad for your facial skin, keeps in germs from your mouth. It's just nasty!! I'd rather get Covid and die then wear masks all day long..

Mikey relax. I wanna be comfortable if I’m watching games for 8 hours. $50 at Ballys in AC. I’m tipping the valet a ten spot. It’s the way of the world

$100 bet might get you 1 drink ticket… but you gotta ask. You can bring a 6 pack in though.

Books have to do this to keep the freeloaders out

It pisses me off when these guys come in bunches to the sportsbook on Sundays, take seats, and don’t even bet a game. They sit there and yell all day for their $20 fantasy team. Real gamblers have no place to sit

    i'm sure that sucks

can't you just bet/watch at home though?

sadly the only sportsbook in wisconsin is at the green bay casino and you have to be on-property

Yes, I can bet offshore and sit at home. As of now, no online wagering in NYS.

I like to go to the book so I can watch multiple games at the same time.

The books I go to I'm friendly with the book managers so I call ahead and reserve my seats. I use my comps to pay f&b.
