Kelly loves the grey area and LSU and the SEC provide the best grey area in all of this land.

Shaw is a fukking clown. He was good when he had Andrew Luck. He has made some really stupid moves over the last few years. Saw him down 16 very late in the game score a TD, not go for 2 and then went onside kick. Only reason they beat Oregon was atrocious officiating, end of game in particular and Oregon was missing their oc.

10 years in the SEC. LOL. LSU will be paying three coaches $10 million before it is over. None of these teams are winning as many as they think they are.

Apparently noone else at ND knew anything until the news broke yesterday. Then they had a team meeting this morning at 7am and I guess Kelly was in his car and on his way to the airport at 7:12. Not a good look.

Kelly is a good coach, but does he ever make a lot of dumb calls during the course of a game, especially big games.

But it's a good move for him. He's getting more money, the academics are no longer an issue, and he's hoping Saban quits within 3 or 4 years and he can win the SEC West consistently.

He also bails out at the right time. Notre Dame's schedule next year is 100 times harder than the schedule they played this year. He was looking at 8-4 next year.

Didn't he do something similar when he bailed on Cincinnati? Just up and left without a word?

Shaw went from 11, 12 win seasons to now 4 and 3 win seasons the last few years. Talk about failing forward.

About the only reason ND would bring him in is because he knows how to recruit at a school with academic standards.

There is something to this. Its always a bad divorce. You either leave on your own or get kicked out.

Definition of a pussy though. Competitors should want the challenge....esp with the kids he recruited and played so hard for him. They haven't had great talent or great schedules, but they've still won at a historic rate for him.

He's a weasel and a scumbag. I think Riley is dumb too, but not even close to BK. I'm thinking Ok St wins and then ND will be out anyway, but computers say they have 58% chance. I will be rooting hard for ND if they get in. Freeman is not just a token black coach. He can coach and recruits like a MFer too. OU should hire him if ND screws around

Can't see Michigan, Georgia, or UC losing

Bama is that blood sucking vampire that will never die. Could they be the first team to get a playoff nod with 2 losses??? I sure hope not.

I think Kelly realized that he can't recruit the best talent at ND in order to compete at the highest level. He is a rat but with all the talent LSU has and gets, he will quickly turn them into a contender, which sucks for me as Florida fan.

I can never fault a man for making his own choices. He's got $100 million reasons that is insane.

Why not take the money and run? What’s loyalty anyway? Colleges fire guys for 8-9 win seasons now. Might as well go get paid.

Here's an interesting possibility. Say Georgia beats Bama to knock them out, Michigan wins, Ok State wins but Cinci loses a close one to Houston.

Does Notre Dame get the last spot at 11-1, when Cinci is 12-1 and beat ND in South Bend?

Everyone will remember. He's leaving a team that has a shot of making the playoff THIS YEAR. How can anyone leave a team at this point in the season is just plain wrong. I'd have no issue if he left after Sunday assuming they were out of the top 4.
