    BetOnline.ag Took Almost $9,600 from me overnight. Shocked.

    RESOLVED:

    **I have posted this on BMR, Reddit, but wanted to come here to get some more eyes and hopefully some help.**


    I have recently been on a very hot streak on BetOnline.ag and have been fortunate enough to accrue an account balance of over $9,600. My last bet was placed the night of 11/4/21, a 2 team parlay of 76ers and Louisiana Lafayette ML. I went to bed with over $9,600 in my account. At 11/5/21, I check my account and there’s $19.60 in my account. No trace of any losses or explanation. I contact support. They say the money was “transferred to the casino.” After more digging they tell me the money was lost. It was not me. No one close to me has any access to my account other than myself which I access on my phone and laptop. So clearly I have been hacked. They make me tell them my internet provider, devices and also change my password. I oblige. The security team did an initial investigation into the matter and somehow did not find any suspicious log in information. After this initial investigation I maintain with 100% certainty that I did not make any bets from last night until the noon login. Currently, a second investigation is being launched and will apparently take 24-48 hours, but I have little faith in their integrity.


    I understand that it's impossible to trust me without 100% certainty as many posters of this nature leave out pertinent information. This is not the case with me. As all gamblers have, I've lost fair and square before and would never lie about losing money if I were truly responsible for it. My money was stolen and I am hoping BMR can help me out.

    UPDATE 11/6: I reached out to Dave Mason on twitter. He got back to me quickly and said he'd forward my case to higher ups at CS. I didn't hear back from him directly on twitter, but the same CS rep I spoke to previously alleged a 3:37 AM EST (2:37 AM CST) Login on my home wifi, which is simply false. I asked him further about the nature of the casino losses i.e. games played, hands history, and he did not provide to me. Hoping that higher ups will review this case if they haven't already and serve some justice. Attempting to obtain AT&T internet records as we speak, but unsure if I will ultimately be able to obtain hourly logs. If anyone is experienced in this, please let me know.

    Yep, I found that out recently. Hoping BMR and Dave can be of big help to me, but like I mentioned in the post. There are a lot of eyes here. I am hoping someone may have a similar experience and/or ideas of how to proceed! Thanks!

    I don't think SBR has a complaint form for offshore books anymore. You may want to find another forum that can help you with.

    It was obviously an employee as far as orchestrating the theft

    File Clerk already investigated and hacked into the employee's computer and saw the theft. This is why they pay him the big bucks here.

    Exactly, but least in the SBR 'offshore era', everyone with similar complaints seemed to receive fair somewhat honest response from BetOnline customer service. So far, I can't really say that is the case for me. Further, I'm not naive to say that $9,600 is the biggest sum of money compared to some of the balances people in this forum hold in their accounts. However, $9,600 is significantly more than I have seen stolen in other similar cases. I really don't want to come on here and sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I don't have too many answers at the moment.

    If everything you say is true I sure hope this gets resolved in your favor.

    Can Optimal still help? I think he may have been reaching out on his own to help folks still. He’s a moderator here who’s had great success in the past assisting posters with similar problems.

    It’s definitely a rogue employee. I’ve had former employees from BOL give me fake Money-Gram names to deposit with many many years ago & got stiffed for the deposit.

    Yes, again. I understand that it's impossible to just blindly trust what I say, but its true. However, I mentioned this on BMR too. I'm a gambler, so that means I've lost money-- plenty of times. Of those times, I have never once complained or attempted to deceive in order to get my money back. I have been a customer with them for over 5 years a loyal one at that. For this to happen to me and so far receive no resolution makes me pretty sick to my stomach.

    Thanks for sharing that Btj. we all need to look out for other gamblers. I took my money out of Bol about 5 weeks ago. Only funded at Heritage sports, Uwager, and Bookmaker right now

    Optional is his name. If i were you, i would send him a pm. if you read the thread pinned at the top of Pt, appears he is only here part-time now. there is a lot of confusion as to what the new management will do at Sbr, but Optional is the man you want to reach out to. good luck aaron

    I totally believe you... sportsbook (dot) com stole a few thousand from me years back, so I def feel your justified anger/frustration. Opti is no longer here, apparently... over @ BMR, I think. BMR is probably one of your best options at this point, so hopefully a 'dispute resolution' mod can help you there. Man o man I hope you get your stolen $ returned... please keep us posted and GOOD LUCK.

    Yep, Brad from BMR has been helpful thus far and said we can hope to hear back on Monday. This may sound wishful and just silly as I am completely speculating on the management structure at BOL. But: Hopefully this was perpetrated by a low level employee and possibly due to the weekend timing, higher ups would not be able to review until Monday. In the mean time (during weekend), "supervisors" are still lower employees , and they have been giving me the runaround. Come Monday, hopefully higher ups take a look at my case and provide me with honest information and see the truth.

    Also, If you are going to be using BOL, I recommend turning on 2 factor Auth if you haven't already.

    I just thought about something. I think maybe they took your balance away for the weekend so you won't win more betting sports since you were killing them. Then on Monday Brad puts the balance back in and he says there was a technical error and the balance was transferred to the casino but now is back to your account.

    Remember offshore clerks make $8 an hr, when they see a cred card they will steal so never use one

    This case was inside job by an employee they do it from time to time maybe 10 a year cases but hard to stop

    Usually the book puts money back

    @pavyracer Now talk about wishful thinking haha. If only I were that sharp of a gambler--if that is the case and I'll have a good laugh about it. Regardless, it's reasonable, truly have been on a very hot streak recently

    Down lifetime for sure. This payout would make me positive, but I have lost plenty of money on their site. It's not like I am just cleaning them out left and right each week...

    Already did. first bol slashed my live limits. then they started the delay BS, every time line went against me or the vig. so i got the hell out of there

    Sorry to hear, they are usually the fastest pay I have ever played with. I will not be playing there in the future if this is the case.
