What were braves odds when Acuña went down?

Had to be pretty high. Under 500 most of the year. Wonder if this will start a trend where teams go crazy at the deadline with any shot of the playoffs

Yeah they made a million trades and beat up a weak division. Ironically him going down was a big reason they did so many trades

I don't need any points. They are useless. Glad you won your bets pal!

I remember the Mets GM talking about all the trades the Braves made and how he was happy about it cause it would make them weaker in the long run. He said it’s stupid for them to make those trades when they are so far back in the standings.

2 weeks later the Braves overtook the Mets in the standings and the GM gets a DUI

Haven't followed baseball nor wagered on baseball all year. Glad I didn't even know about Acuna.

Studied a little bit with playoff numbers...

Atlanta just looked like the more hungry team.... and fundamentally sound.

Houston just didn't want it. And Baker is a jinx!

I thought albies interview with the mlb net crew last night was telling. The team rallied behind acuna and then so did management adding all those key pieces to get them the East
