I bought SCO pro shares ultra short crude oil. 330 shares $12.49. I am going on the short side because I don't believe OIL can keep going higher.

In theory it may be described as short term but it is not an option that expires. It can be held for as long as you want it. It is a bet that oil will go lower. But since I describe my trades as "day trading" I may not hold it for long. I try to hit and run so we will see what happens. The new game in town is oil and since it moves up and down, mostly up lately, I try to get in and out as the price dictates.

They trade oil futures and keep rolling when you roll the fund loses juice

It is only used for 1-3 weeks type trade

There's no reason to short oil right now. The fed is going to keep pumping cheap money with to prop up the stock market and the US isn't producing as much oil because of Biden's dumb policies.

The cheap money part may be true. But When oil is high is when us producers, produce all they can because when the price is low we can buy it from middle east for less than we can produce it. Im not sure of the exact number but once oil drops below $50 or so us produces cant make money and the middle east can still make money as low as around $30 or less. When prices were at there lowest many us companies went under they could not make a profit at the low price.

It doesnt matter because the Saudis and other middle east countries want high oil prices, they aren't going to overproduce and let prices drop. Biden is an idiot, he will not allow more investment in the energy and gas sector, US production will continue to drop for some time.

No problem JJ. Somewhere along I started following this stock. It likes to move. It kept moving lower and I thought it was dead. It just seems around this level here it is worth a shot. You seem to know things about the stock market. Ayro, Inc. develops and manufactures light-duty emissions free electric vehicles for urban and community support, local, campus closed mobility, recreational, and gov't use. 2-6 week rate strong by Recognia Tech Analysis. The stock may not look great but it moves. Like I said I take shots and around this $3.00 level it is worth a try.

What made you pick up AYRO? That stock was once $250. It had a nice little pop today. You said you got out of it? I've seen there trucks around Austin but never once looked at their stock???

One of those sights like Marketplace.com had stocks to watch. I put it on my watchlist and it came down below $5 then lower so I figured I'd take a shot around $3. I get nervous in and out whenever I can take a quick profit. Oil I said I got in at $24.04. It's up .84 today $24.64. Maybe take another $90 one day profit.

OIL now $23.92. It went up to $24.71. I wanted to sell but held out. Stupid. I held out to get a breakfast break figuring it might go higher or at least stay. It went lower. Now I am just going to hold out and wait again. This shit has been moving around hard to predict.

Interesting Dumped 15% of holdings in oil yesterday, price is unsustainable as weather gets colder way less traveling going on. Might be late winter before price reflects the reality. Off subject If you like tech stk(etf) is great, cheap, diversified, and pays great dividend. VGT is a good one 2 but you can buy 12-1 on the buying power.

I like following the charts. It looked like OIL was going higher. My bad. I got to hang in there now see what happens. Maybe take another shot for $ cost averaging. I made a mistake and got to try to get out of this somewhere without taking a big hit. Day traders dilemma.
