This is what I mean about ESPN and been saying all along.

I'm doing my work, and for reasons unknown I have ESPN on in the back round, I say reasons unknown because I rarely tune into ESPN unless for a sporting contest or some bio-doc, something like that...

...Anyhow this is what the jokers at the Bristol Ct. Clown College lead with.

    Not, game five SF/LA.
    Not Brady and TB/Phi

This is what they lead with.
Wait for it...wait for it...wait for it...

Lebron's brief scare in the Laker preseason exhibition game.

ESPN's agenda couldn't be more transparent.
    Disgrace.

Mix them together and you get a giant toxic shit storm

Honest to God, I'm the furthest thing from racist, this isn't a black/white thing.
The empty executive suits there think the entire sports world begins and ends with Lebron and everything else doesn't matter.

The construction worker for instance who works from 6 am to 5 pm that's, let's say for instance a big MLB fan, fell asleep in the second inning of last nights game wants to know the result because he missed it.

It's the top of the hour, 5am, he's got 20 minutes with his cup of coffee before he heads out to work.
Top of the hour, he puts on ESPN, and they lead with that nonsense.

It's like the program directors over there are ordered to do that.
You don't lead with exhibition preseason anything unless it's beyond a major story.

    It's common broadcasting news sense.

Bashing ESPN does no good for anyone. They are sports related 24 -7. Yesterday (while handicapping numbers for game 5) I was changing channels and for 1 solid hour was a show on Kyrie Irving not getting the vaccine....I thought it was way too much time devoted to that, but the discussion from the 3 on the show made it interesting. Real Baseball fans and Football Fans knew there were hugh games upcoming.

ESPN can quit shoving the WNBA down our throats alao. Few care about the league.

    I'm not arguing that.
My complaint is a go to source for sports information should know how to prioritize.

    a) post season
    b) regular season
    c) preseason exhibition.

Exception being, if a guy like Jokic for instance has a heart attack and dies on the court in a preseason game, then of course there's your lead.

There's no reason to lead with Lebron James falling down but is OK type of story.
    NO REASON

Agreed, but women may find some interest. I don't know the interest level amoung women sports fans, probably low also, but it is what it is.

Hate to break to ya Nash...Espn doesn't give a damn about baseball. After MNF, it must've been at least 20 minutes after the game ended before they showed the sox rays highlights.

I'm actually shock, usually the lead in story isn't any game highlights but a panel discussing the daily lives of either Brady or Rodgers (fill-in the blank) with more updates at the top of the hour on the next SportsCenter...

Nashers I agree. Sports should just be sports ONLY.

It's entertainment for the public who buy the product, they don't want to hear and see all the other outside political and racial crap. We don't need them or the league to speak about other things outside of the profession and sport!!

Black athletes today think they are so smart and have a platform though when most are just ghetto idiots protesting out of their asses about nonsense. Skated thru school and college cheating off the smart Asian kid sitting next to them and rubber necking it during final exams. BLM!!!

You’re statement is so true and I do the same. Watch ESPN as a game starts and turn it off as soon as it ends. My favorite is when the website prioritizes the NBA summer league over everything else for months.

Jibby can just help himself. Just has to sprinkle in a little racist shit in his posts.

It is funny how much Lebron triggers guys here. Espn reporting a potential injury to biggest name American sports inspires a thread.

    No.
It’s a story that deserves attention
It’s not even close to a lead story on a sports news morning like today is what I am saying and that’s on ESPN is my point.

Let’s use a newspaper analogy shall we?
It’s a page five below the fold news item.

    I don’t hate on James.
I don’t even dislike James the person.
I have a problem with some of his actions but nobody’s perfect.
James the person didn’t trigger me at all.

I've seen Stu (streamed) here and there, he's not that bad,

I think Cowherd is the best in the business, that's just me, I know some can't stomach him.

Hey, I can't stand Skippy, the FS1 morning show is unbearable, I'm glad they got rid of that twat on that tout show.
I'm hardly FS1 all day every day.

I'd love Michael A if he'd shout less, same with Gus on Fox if he shouted less.

I just answered in the post above.
For a particular sporting event, like a Saturday NCAAf game, or a docu-pic or series (like 30/30)
I just happened to wake up this morning with ESPN on, probably rolled over on the remote, or switched over moments before crashing when the football game was still on.
