    Prop Pricing On Certain Sites
I encountered this today and hadn't seen this before so thought it was worth posting about. Maybe this is well known?

Anyways some sites use a third party lines maker for their prop markets but also spread some props themselves. Even on the same site it's worth shopping the price in the prop builder vs the listed props for potential differences.

I don't think you're going to get any scalps but it's worth looking. For instance today one site has listed DTD prop for Jags/Cinci at +200 but the prop builder has the same prop at +211.

    Happy hunting.

Many sites have software where you can build player props, parlay props, etc. It's an API from a third party and a lot of the sites use the same provider.

Oj, OK. I thought maybe you were just talking about differences between sportsbooks. That definitely exists, sometimes substantially, and it is critical. Props finish near the number quite often. Needless to say, I try to middle these frequently, but limits are an issue.

betonline had -110 player props NBA and MLB up until last year

that build-a-prop thing is huge if you like MLB unders. some games with totals of 7 you can find under 16.5 total hits for -120

thats early in the day. by the end of the afternoon it will be -159

that build-a-prop has some large limits in terms of props. i think the limits are set from the sportsbooks own manager

some my limit is $50. another book the limit $750

                  strange

OK. Value is value, but $100 limit is weak.

Anyways some of what I'm trying to explain here is getting lost in translation. Books are hanging two lines on props sometimes because of the third party. The line that they originated and then a third party line based on the algo in the software. Im not talking about a difference in market opinion amongst the various books... This is a different price on the same prop at one book.
