Attention: Former ATHLETES with LOWER BACK PAIN

Or anyone in general that suffers from it

I have been plagued with lower back pain from old football and weightlifting injuries for years and I wanted to share something I discovered recently that has really helped, pretty much instantly.

Lie flat on your back on the floor. Place a tennis ball between your lower back and the floor, rolling around on the affected areas. You can control the pressure by lifting up a little or pressing down. Roll all around the lower back and don't forget the upper glut area and around to the sides just below the pelvis.

Hopefully this helps you like it did me!

I've used a golf ball too.

But when my lower back was broken, and didn't know because they misread some xrays, I used this rubber dog bone that just hit the spot everytime.

Also, to add to the rolling around, and this works more the higher you go, you can also use your breathing and it's motions to add and release pressure and relax at the same time, like on pressure points.

Dblow has been bent over a lot. That accounts for his back injuries.

A lot of lower back pain is also from your hips not being aligned and your core being weak your glues being weak

DLow, I love health tips like this. Thanks!

But I have to agree w/ the warrior. This is a rehab therapist tip from many years ago. It does work!

I don't have many of those near me. Do you get to pick who gives you the massage? Would hate to end up with a 4 ft middle aged dragon lady.

Usually no. If you have been there before and know a girls name you like you can ask for them. If we are talking strictly for pain relief you would def want the middle aged dragon lady. They all know what they are doing though, handies aside. I’m not kidding I have left many times feeling an inch or two taller as a result of the back work.

Also too man, if you go to one find one that has the two poles running across the ceiling and ask them to walk across your back. They push down hard af to where you almost lose all the air from your lungs but bro, it pops your spine tremendously. Then they do the massage after, shits amazing.

Lacrosse balls are really good from my experience. They are harder than a tennis or racquet ball and you can really dig into the muscles. There are also balls with dimples on them that are quite good for this as well.

there are many types of lower back pain. your pain might be soft tissue and this helps, but other people might have disc, nerve, or vertebral issues and this would be ineffective at best, counter productive possibly, and create a need for fast medical assistance at worst.

without knowing a diagnosis you would not want to be giving prescriptive treatments
