Belichick and McDaniels public today saying Mac Jones just won the QB competition,
didn't want to send mixed message and Jones is their guy, end of story.
But Newton did miss 3 team practices due to a vaccine 'misunderstanding'.
Belichick says vax status had nothing to do with it, and the number of vaxxed coaches and staff
who have been vaccinated is high. Notice this doesn't change the status of Cole Popovich, who was
let go as co-offensive line coach because he wouldn't get the vax. There is a mandate but not for players.

BB does not like having guys that are not available. Cam fukkked up last year and this past week was the last straw.
