Should we just blindly bet Rahm, Koepka, Oosthuizen?

Seems like these 3 are always at the top at majors. Should we just blindly bet them outright?

Do I even need to do research... this course is made for Rahm, Koepka always contends and Louie shows up in majors.

I’ve been researching players & handicapping models like never before for a good week now on this tournament & all 3 of those players are not on my radar.

Why? Rahm loves link courses and has finished top 5 in like five straight events.

Winning back to back Major Championships is very rare in the history of Golf. Also if your not Tiger Woods winning as the favorite in the field is not a favorable bet.

Koepka's game is suited more for US Opens than British.

    Fleetwood won't win a major.

JT is trying a new putter because he can't putt.

Louis Oost?..besides the 2010 Open, he has 0 PGA wins despite those 5 2nd place finishes at Majors..just proves he's the ultimate cokk tease.

Not in majors. The same players usually show up.

Would anyone be shocked to see these 3 near the top again?

So we should all bet Koepka?

Since 2017 Koepka in all majors -84 and next best is -23.

I hate the guy but won't be surprised if he wins.

Rahm, Matsuyama, Bryson, Reed, Morikawa and JT are all elite and yet they all only have one major to their name. And about 5-10 more elite players like Rory and Speith that aren't on this list because they haven't won a major in years. That's how deep golf is now. Very hard to be profitable picking outright winners, I gave up on it years ago.

Meh picked Rahm and Koepka last major and they were both right there at the end.

Would be surprised if some random wins. Spieth possibly. Rory no.

Top 10 looks like a winner to me. Probably will put 3 units on that, 1.5 units top 5, and .75 unit on him to win it all

there was about 15 players that were "right there" at the end, it was a complete crapshoot. Rahm actually had longer odds to start Sunday than he did going into the week.

last 5 British Open winners: Shane Lowry, Molinari, Spieth, Stenson, Zach Johnson. Good luck with your chalk.

So we are going to not include Rory, Mickelson and Els the 3 previous?

If you want to take a long shot go ahead, I'll take some of the more consistent players if I'm putting decent chunks of money on it.

I've invested a total of $12 on longshots
    Hughes
    Scheffler
    English
    Homa
    Bland

Going with the crap shot approach for the time being.
May get involved prior to the third or/add rounds more seriously if I spot something. This event has been known to provide some runaway winners. Those that stay in the fairways at a high % are thought to have an edge. Its a major thus should be interesting.

Bro, Hughes and Bland are not winning a major.

Scheffler never know seems to do well in them.

That's why they are longshots. Bland was in the top 20 in the Irish Open and should know the course. Hughes's game may fit the course. Its a educational investment should I choice to invest in head to head matchups later in the tournament. I'm not expecting to win. Its action. One hand of Blackjack is over in seconds, this can last days.
