Biggest NHL upset of the decade

I don't remember a team with more losses than wins in the regular season ever making the cup finals.

Good for them but just crazy.

3 decades ago, but '91 North Stars .425 win% went on a tear beating Chicago, St Louis and Edmonton. Took a 2-1 series lead in finals vs Mario before losing out.

That's because they played two crapoy canadian teams and a shitty expansion team that gave the series on a platter.

Now they'll get destroyed by Tampa.

I have montreal futures so they aren't winning.

I told you a month ago this team is good you just don’t want to see it.

You Kept laying that heavy juice against them.. you still have a chance to make a few bucks as they will be dogs once again and a big dog if TAmpa gets in…stop thinking just bet them in the final.

I hope you're wrong I got on them at 36-1 at Betphoenix after they beat Toronto. Also some on NYI at 22-1 and 12-1. I can't be that lucky, for sure Tampa wins tomorrow.

Oh no. Danny Thor (middle name) Moron-o has TB to make the cup finals as well.....don't you dare figure its a shoe-in. So, gary, curious, what were the Habs before the Toronto series? Were they like 50-1? So dam funny too, because I almost went and put down 3-4k on Toronto before playoffs but held off and didn't do it.

Nice to get Isles too though man even if they don't win nice call. Taking TB to 7 so far, beating Pitt and Bost......good team. NHL is the one league all this happens in from time to time.

Wow that’s a real sexy position if NY wins tomorrow night. I’ll be rooting for you

The 2011/12 kings lost 42 of 82 games and won the cup.

Way different because they made a few big trades and a big coaching change with a couple months left in the season.

That was a way different situation and I actually picked Kings to win the cup that year. I could dig up old tickets but let's not pretend this is remotely the same thing.

Carter, Richards, Doughty, Quick, Kopitar, Brown, Stoll, Martinez... that team was stacked. Not to mention a top 5 coach in NHL history.

Montreal is definitely a storybook team if they somehow manage to win.

I project they will get swept by Tampa.

Morino has Tampa to make the cup finals. Might unload on Islanders.

I might not unload but it will be difficult to not bet something against him. I haven't even capped the game yet or looked at the line. But, make no mistake, its a reckoning for Morono.

I have Tampa +750 to win the cup. Posted that early in the playoffs.

Not betting against the champions in a game 7 at home.

They are the world champs for a reason and will prove it imo.

I would think Tampa should win.

Just letting you know, there may be powers at work here outside of our capping abilities.

Didn't check before series, but their lines were wacky. After Montreal beat Toronto they still had Toronto at 8-1 and Montreal 36-1. Checked other sites at the time and Montreal was 16-1.

Thanks, I'll need it. I've said all along I think Tampa would win it all, but I couldn't pass up the value on Montreal and NYI.
