    Fleury is a finalist for the Vezina trophy given to the best goalie. Imagine benching Sidney Crosby. This is basically what the coach will do, benching his best player.

    Robin Lehner has played just four times in the past 50 days. He was the Golden Knights' starter for all of last postseason, but has been benched during the postseason as Vegas rides the hot hand of Fleury.

    They should have put the other goalie in OT of last game. Fleury was not mentally there after he gifted that goal.

    While I think Fleury should get the start because it was a mishap, can't fault the coach for making the move. So many times they get reamed out for never pulling a goalie, and now he does because it pissed him off too maybe....he can't win either way, well, unless he wins. Then, nobody will second-guess him.

    Every NHL game I've been on, I have had a goal lead and they've imploded 3rd period or conceded a goal and eventually lost in ot, need a power play goal thanks

    Fleury mistake was historical. Never have I seen an experienced goalie screw up that bad in that situation… Any team can beat him up high.. I’m surprised it’s taken coaches this long to figure it out…

    I would not hesitate to start Lehner again… He was sacrificed in that first game against the rested Avs…

    what didn't make sense about this move was why did DeBoer then put Fleury back in net for game 5? i mean, he had the sense to make the change prior to game 4 after Fleury melted down, so why not just ride out that decision for the rest of the series.. or at the very least for the next game?

    at the bare minimum, Lehner deserved to start game 5 at home and then could be monitored from there.
