And that is so inconsistent.

Could have just as easily been scored a hit. Was a rocket up the middle. Short stop got a glove on it where the grass meets the dirt. He would have had to make a spinning throw from deep behind 2nd base to get the out. Running into an out at home plate for no reason certainly didn't help the fish.
That's really weird. It was clearly foul. Never even got reviewed. Just a long strike.
ESPN showed the play by plays and had Pitch 1 as a homer, then as a foul ball. Now the homer line is altogether gone from the play by play.
I just assumed it was reviewed but thought it was off that the play by play didn't say it was reviewed.
Somebody punched the wrong thing in and all hell broke lose across the scoreboards.
