Kyrie played 45 minutes, that’s not sustainable, this game will likely be close and go to the wire, but Milwaukees biggest issue is Giannis’s inconsistent shooting and their offense struggling late in games, I see Brooklyn winning a much closer game in game as the likely outcome

New jersey flat out hanging -2.5.

I guess they're bracing for the local rush.

That's a big inefficiency, even for openers.

    So what's the move mo?

Buy the +2.5, the -1 or both?

    What does morino do?

One thing not many people are talking about is that Milwaukee was not a good road team all year, 20-16 on the road is horrible for a contender.

Brooklyns weakness with Harden out is lack of depth, Kyrie played 45 minutes in game 1, but the lack of depth won’t hurt them unless this series goes 6 or 7 games.

I don’t think their will be any value with Milwaukee until they get home. Brooklyn had a great record against top teams all year, and they didn’t care about lower level competition. Milwaukees inconsistent regular season defense is showing up again as well.

I think their may be some value on Milwaukee at home down 2-0, but I wouldn’t touch them at this number on the road against a team playing like Brooklyn is.

I see the home team having value in most games in this series, again the market is giving Milwaukee a lot of respect after their sweep of an overrated Miami team, Milwaukee was trash on the road for a contender.

Yeah, I'm guessing the Nets line grows, that respect for Mil could wane.

I think the -1 heads more towards the -2.5 as opposed to the other way.

I have some work to do on this one and we have time to do it as well. Want to see the market mature a bit.

Moving Griffin to the 5 has also changed the Nets offense, his shooting opens up the floor for Durant no Irving, in previous games Jordan was at the 5 guarding Giannis.

It's strange how almost everyone on SBR likes the Bucks to win the series. You can say that now, with it being a coin flip, but to say that when Harden was healthy seemed proposturous to me.

James Harden is like a how many time scoring champ and MVP candidate? Every year basically? You're not going to stop him from minimum getting 25 and 7. That means at least 40 additional points that he accounts for... He's just as valuable as Giannis.

Someone in another thread before the series started said that Khris Middleton is almost just as good as Durant? Never.

In line with your thinking on home/road records, Nets also have a “horrible” road record for a contender.
Therefore, some hope exists for the Bucks

If harden is still out the bucks should win and adjust better with knowing the status of nets team formation rather than a sudden injury inplay to a player.

The Nets played a solid overall game in game 1 with help from Griffin and Mike James. If they hold mil to under 115 they will win game 2 with ease. That being said everyone is picking the bucks because of Harden.

I think both me & you are due for a gambling break on that 1 so don't lose faith just yet. If the Nets lose the next 2..then panic city.

Who says Middleton is almost as good as KD?
    That's beyond laughable.

KD is elite, Middleton is what he is, a nice #2 option for most teams, he's really a perfect #3 man for any team. But KM is hardly KD.

Throw out the first game, that was an anomaly, some of those Celtic/Lakers series and other classic Celtics series of yesteryear all had a game that had a 20 plus point blowout.

Narrative remains the same, Brooklyn moves on if they can't miss from the field, Bucks eat them up if Nets shooting goes cold.
Bucks dominate Brooklyn down low, not even debatable, but if Harris and Irving can't miss from deep doesn't make a difference.

Anybody thinks Nets roll is a 4 game sweep based solely off of game 1 is sadly mistaken.

Quick check shows Heritage has -1.5, I want a little more if I'm betting the Bucks in game 2.
Or else I don't need to bet this game. I have the Bucks in 7 and I'm standing by that.

Check that other thread, someone said that Middleton is a "baby KD."

This series is gonna be a good one, but if Harden were playing and healthy, Bucks would have no chance of winning this series. That's just facts. Middleton is the bucks number two, and think about how much worse he is than Harden. It's night and day.
