Here we go again... Relief Pitchers Starting Games

    Friday 6-4-21

King Starting for Yankees and will go probably 2 innings.

Mejia starting for Indians and might go 3 innings.

Akin starting for Orioles and has pitched 4 innings so at least the Orioles are trying to stretch him out.

How does an MLB handicapper forecast these games?

    Anybody???

I'd like to get some feedback from you MLB handicappers on how YOU would grade these games. How do YOU handicap an MLB game when a Relief Pitcher Starts? I've got some ideas myself but it would be nice to get some feedback from the Forum.

WTF? You guys come in here to look but NOBODY has any thoughts? C'mon.

My strategy would be to Play F5 wagers.

    Tonight I'm rolling with...

    MIA F5 -110 risking $220 to win $200

    BOS F5 -130 risking $260 to win $200

    MIL F5 -1/2 -135 risking $270 to win $200

Gets ridiculous to cap some of these.

Some methods, however, are not touched.

Who's playing and when seems to be the new big thing in all the sports, expecially NBA and MLB.

I blame the TB Rays from a couple of seasons ago for messing with the traditional pitching arrangements.

For the NBA, we can blame the first guy that coined the term "load management"

The next level of capping the NBA is capping the probablitity of a player starting.

The same may go for MLB, with multiple forecasts being developed for multiple scenarios. It's tricky, for sure.

My market adjustments remain the same though and many cues can be take from that.

We will survive this, Gooser, we will survive this.

    Good stuff KVB.

What it boils down to is sports gambling is a constant adjustment to stay alive. If you don't roll with the punches and adjust accordingly then that magic 52.5% is going to slip through your grasp.
