You sound like a "Man about Las Vegas?"
You say June to July 17? It gets 110 doesn't it, throughout the summer and early fall? If I come and look for property, I hope to find a miracle, like, trees, quiet neighborhood--not to close to people, either--and far away from speedy highways and suburbs packed in close to each other.
If I was 10 to 20 miles from the strip, could be fine for me.
I probably would look for a run down shack of property, say some good distance from Las Vegas.
Would this type of property even be possible to find--and I'm not that particular either, if it has running water, a commode/shower, and electricity, what else would an older guy like me want?
A lady, you say?
That's like me playing a longshot nag in a 20 horse field.
You young guys, though, between 28 & 40, are still on your way to be where I've already been, 10 times, maybe even 20 times. sure, your field will only be a 5 or 10 nag field, but the odds of finding a winner is still a longshot for you fellows, too.
I know, man must find out for himself because it's been an irresistible drug for thousands of years.
