    Kershaw was on the take

completely rigged. he had his good stuff, clear swing and miss stuff

but he just kept throwing 0-2 pitches right down broadway

figures only game of the afternoon. completely struggling starter vs dodgers ace

Hendricks has been lights out his last two, home starts vs 2 very good teams in the NL
Prior to today, his pitching line vs MIL was OUTSTANDING as well

Kershaw is not on the take.
He has millions, how much would it take for him to tank a game?

Please stop, it's just a bad beat.

Dodgers playing bad ball, and especially BAD vs NL central teams
They have now won 3 of their last 11 games

I'm not weighing on this because I have info others might not, but re read your post for a second.

How did he get his millions? He got paid to play baseball, do his job.

So by saying baseball paid him millions to do his job could it be that you're answering your own question?

Seems odd to say a player "is not on the take" and then talk about the millions he's paid to play.

    If you think about it.

I have heard this argument before about other athletes in other sports, but he's not flushing a career down the drain by tanking a game and any and all future earnings too is my point,

deGrom did it last week to Xander on an 0-2 pitch.

This could be short sighted thinking though, it could be.

He's paid to do a job. Maybe he did his job and if he did something other than that, he would be flushing a career down the drain and all future earnings too.

Maybe his career and earnings are a the result of him doing his job, which is to play baseball.

Maybe he doesn't even realize that the catcher is calling him a game to give up the ass. Maybe the catcher is being told by the manager what type of game to call.

Maybe the player is just doing his job, throwing the pitches he's told to throw.

Like I said, I'm not weighing in on the debate here, but some arguments aren't that solid when put the test.

For the record, I bet Chicago.

It has a little more "intent" to it than that. It tracks the market too.

Good thing cubs one, was on a free fall there. And even though I predicted the free fall, still need that support...

    Today's other trigger was Colorado.

    Down 10-0 in the first.

In the interest of accuracy , the last play in that chart ^^^^ will change, could be an even further drop before I can register the Cubs win that is the last play in that chart.

The +1.61 is added in as that last uptick, but there will be two plays before that in the chart....

    904 4-May WAS +118
    932 4-May COL -119
    934 4-May CHI +161 1.61
    Total 1.61

Maybe there are ninja's at his house holding his wife and kids at gunpoint, ordering him to throw the game. Or maybe I've been watching too much Netflix.

It's not odd. He's being paid to perform well and and win games. He's not being paid to lose and wouldn't take money to attempt to lose. Any suggestion otherwise is just frustration at losing.

The Dodgers should start him in Game 2.
