White is currently in a 7 year contract with UFC until 2026, as the president of the UFC.

They may have to keep him on, would be foolish no to, or they would have to buy him out.

That might not be wise pre IPO, White is a huge part of the UFC success these last 20 years.

If they take it public and eliminate the Dana Whites. They can run it into the ground with debt. Like bellator, One FC, PFL, bare knuckle FC and all the other corrupt fight promotions out there that need to do 2+ years of shows just to break even on the massive amounts of debt they carry.

I hope people realize bellator and PFL take on massive amounts of debt to pay fighters their salaries. PFL has to do 2 years of events just to break even on their debt. They're not profitable the way the UFC is.

If the UFC is bought out, promotions like bellator won't have to pretend they care about fighter pay anymore. ESPN won't have to pretend they care if fighters are underpaid.
