Is this considered a correlated parlay at most shops?

I wanted to play a four team MLB parlay today, all on totals. Two of the four were each game of the Twins/Red Sox doubleheader, but was alerted that I couldn't use them both in the same parlay. I thought I knew the concept of a correlated parlay, but these are two totally separate entities. I didn't argue, as I know the books can sort of dictate these things, and hell... judging by some threads I see, I'm rather grateful that my book was up front about it, as opposed to having the parlay win, only to be told it wouldn't count, or to have it lose, and not be told anything. My question is: is something like this the norm at the majority of books?

Betanysports, betonline and bookmaker allowed me to make the total parlays in the double header. I didn't bet it though, so it's possible an error message could come up but I doubt it.

there's a chance it's because you are using both games in the doubleheader with the new Stupid rule of 7 innings
but normally this should be ok to play

Might be something to that Tony. Que sera, sera. For what it's worth, I tried it in the SBR Sportsbook, and it was allowed.

I do think it's an issue with the 7 inning double headers.

Some books may be assessing the risk here or your book got burned and they're checking them all now.

    I don't think it's a customary practice.
