    Ump Joe West Sues Ex-Catcher Paul Lo Duca & Wins $500k Defamation Case

    Lo Duca claimed he bribed West for a favorable strike zone by letting him borrow his 1957 Chevrolet.

    Joe West thought he wouldn't make the MLB Hall of Fame like Shoeless Joe Jackson, Barry Bonds and Pete Rose if the voters thought it was true.

    Yeah, the games and podcast are old and Lo Duca might have been a no show last year but I think the award was just announced yesterday.

    I suppose $500k makes up the potential to not get into the Hall of Fame, even though he already won the suit.

    Strange how the judge agreed about the Hall of Fame potential and then they put a dollar amount on that, as the defamation.
