Notice how all the Books hug each other tightly, so we cannot find better lines

Another evolution trick the books are hanging you with.
It wasn't like this just a few years ago, I do not believe?
Tough line and point buying selling higher.

Something will have to give sooner or later?
A bolder Book needs to open!

    You may have misunderstood?
Did you not check out the Baylor Ark. halftime lines? 1-1/2 everywhere.

Well...given WH operates half of Vegas and their EU stuff

    AND

I think a handful of offshore books share the same address

    AND

With STATES now invested in sharp lines I think maybe it's gonna be about money management & reduced juice going forward.

Yeah you gotta be REALLY fast though to get that little halftime edge

But it’s been that way for years.

Abe is acting like he came in from a time machine from the 90s

I was looking at SBR Books. If these young in's have a nicer spot, why not fill us rookies in?

Like I have stated a few times lately, these lines are tuff, tuff right now. Play 20 instead of 60 or a 100 till you get some confidence back.
And like my thread stated last week, I have sincere doubts, very few sports bettors of today can actually win?

Again, these Books of today have you just where they want you.
There are too many negatives coming from Book's of today and few, if any, positives.

At the end of the day you're gonna have to beat the spread to the tune of 55% or better... That's how it was when the mob ran Vegas and that's pretty much how it is now. Everything else is just bells, whistles, and periphery nonsense. You gotta sack up or hit the road.

Books love the sports games just as they are right now. Here's my example: 98% of the time, I would have bought the 1 point for ARK.
No, I flinched because of that extra charge they throw at you for point buying.
It just so happened--and I've lost several point bought games the past 3 weeks--I flinched and it beat me, I mean, "they" beat me.

Does anyone not understand by now?
    * These Books--my guess--are paying a group of very sharp handicappers to set these lines--and they give you the leftovers after the fat is chiseled off.

the early bird gets the worm when it comes to lines

i got avalanche yesterday in the morning at -135 giving the goal and a half. by dinner time they were -170. got to strike early if you know a fave is going to get pounded like asa akira in an anal scene.

I tried that in football and was wrong 50% of the time, maybe 55%?
Baskets, those lines change so much with those 1/2 points, you never will know the best line will be, many times, until it's too late.
    The game has changed.
If I play serious next season, I will first have to decide if it's worth the pain, the sweat, the risk, all the hs the The Books have you handcuffed into?

Mathematical equation gotta mean break even at 52.5% ?? So what I'm seeing is maybe this reduced juice is better that 1 green roulette house edge when playing colors

When you start losing by 1/2 points; 1 point; 1 bucket way-way too many times, there is something going on?

What about the times you win by a 1/2 point or a point?

What you should learn is that you have to monitor the market closely and line shop carefully.

Pros win because they make their own line and can define value.

I agree with you that an entertainment player has no chance to win long term

People that win are not writing books and are not telling other players how to do it

Just play small like sports is a crap game and if you get hot / try to push your bets until you cool off.

You are the one that has to get better as the books are not going to give back the advantages they have developed

The books will continue to fleece their players. If I actually knew how to set a line and had my own formulas I would give all my plays to everyone free of charge and bankrupt the books.

I am a born Doubting Thomas. You may PM me anytime and explain how to pluck those goose feathers?
I've plucked many a feathers in the past but the past has passed.
And a bunch refused to pay. Another way to get your own feathers plucked, or a word that sounds similar.

I plucked feathers in the past and now plucking them again. Might depend what state you live in. It's easy, but it's not easy. But anyway, it's my Golden Goose.
