You owe taxes on all income, according to tax laws. If you want to ignore those laws, that's on you. I certainly would not trust tax advice I got from a ticket writer. It only gets reported to the IRS if certain conditions are met for each type of bet. Sports, slot machines, table games, are all different.

I loved following the other thread (and some of the other things leading up to it). The very best of sbr in a long time. And if the $70k wins, might be the best ever.

Nice jinx Arch..most +705 parlays aren't exactly locks. Surprised they told me if I lose the ticket even if I snap a pic I'm shit out of luck. They obviously got cameras in there so it seems like a total freeroll if the ticket gets stolen or lost in a fire through no fault of your own.

sportsbooks should totally just hand over cash when someone shows them a picture of a betting ticket.

there's no way honorable gamblers would ever try to manipulate pictures or social media crazed bettors

just pay the $$$$$$$$$$$

They should snap a pic of you holding the ticket. If nobody presents the ticket within a yr that should be all the proof you need. Even some lotteries pay out in such cases.
