FanDuel has finally separated West Virginia from Virginia today! If either of these teams are in the final 4 will cost them money since no bets can be taken from that state.. Idea: They won't be!

Agreed. If somebody comes out with better lines instead of blowing that money on advertising many would move over without them needing to advertise. Then they can grow by word of mouth. Basically the pinnacle/aldi model. Keep it simple. It’s money. For every $1 spent on advertising is a $1 less that can be in the players pocket. The longer gambling in US the smarter the gamers get. Most of the ones lured by shiny lights will be broke in a couple of years anyway.

Let's not forget they gave 300k to BLM

I would quit gambling before ever placing a bet there

And their CEO Matt King said it was worth every cent to see the racist anti-freedom-of-choice cancel culture snowflakes scream they would not play there.

You fit that description so exactly that you must give him a woody Emily!

They are proving much better than I ever expected for NASCAR this year.

Post race markets first on Mondays. 25% vig, which is as good as even offshores, apart from 5Dimes who is still under 20%.

If these numbers are 100% true the advertising dollars are ridiculously excessive. You could cut the advertising to 50% less... most people who gamble tell their friends.... it's like anything.... you're shooting the sh#$ at a bar or party.... and say... Hey! Who do you use??

It's wasted money on DraftKings part. Go with word of mouth.... if you're a degenerate gambler... you're just going to gamble. Hard to convince someone who's conservative... to.... start gambling.

location of casino that FD and DK are affilated with has big impact on advertising too. They have to blast out the marketing esp in Chicago area market since they are based at southern Illinois and have to rely on online registration ect....Its huge business and the cost of gaining a customer now vs in 5 years when things are established is actually much lower now. As far as the lines/juice 95% of people do not care. Its the same at offshore where more people play at -110 shops then doing work to find the relaible -105's. Its all about convenience for most in all aspects of life. Most of the new(Non Offshore guys) DK sign ups have no interest in using offshore learning cryto ect. they just want recreational book with easy in and out funds and could care less if they are betting a -112 or -108

Yes, and that's why it's also so good for sharp bettors. There's thousands of squares to make up for it, so they are willing to take it on the chin here and there to not alienate anybody.

What? Nonsense post. I've always not been able to place bets in WV for Virginia.
