Thoughts on electronic craps, roulette, blackjack at casino?

Since this is likely the future of gaming what are your feelings about it....seems too easy for the house.

Yes, and let's just say if the house edge in a regular roulette game is 6% which to say that the program in the e game isn't simply a 90% payout platform, thus giving house a greater edge.

Been looking at e games for commercial purchase...thinking about underground casino.

Pass. I haven't been to a casino in a few years, but if I would go, I would play craps. No way in hell am I playing electronic craps. Ruins the whole game. There will still be a core of players who prefer the traditional way, so the casino will have it.

    Budgeting $700k for this

The equipment isn't that pricey, decent casino set up for under $50k.

With no human dealers/ theft issues + higher edge, make it back yr 1 even giving away free drinks

Real estate the biggest cost, budget $550-$700k depending on location and ability to draw players

I love playing all the electronic games at the casino, makes it easy and pain-free. I'm going to lose at the table games anyways, might as well not have to worry about ahole dealers and guys playing the shoe all wrong at $5 a hand.

Why craps? Why any game of chance? Any consistent ROI can and will only come from
a game of skill and it better be one your damn well skilled in. Gambling comes by chance, High risk and risk tolerant investing is where true leverage lies. With the right amount of information whether it being a poker tell or the condition of the field before kickoff is where such info can put the odds in your favor. The true skill is how to decipher and interpret that information. Dice and wheels do not have and don’t need memory to outsmart any gambler. Then again gamblers don’t have very good memories either as they only can seem to remember those rare occurrences where as a statistical anomaly they beat the probable outcome from time to time.

the games lose a little bit of feel when i do the electronic wheels and we all sit at the kiosks around the casino. i am talking about when a dealer is in a central location and spins the wheel from there. foxwoods has all of their casinos connected for this at various kiosks. are they fun? sure. it does make it easy too with no chips to worry about and no people bumping into me, etc.

as for pure electronic table games i am not crazy about it. i feel it is rigged just like online casinos. i rather pass my time playing slots for fun if i do something electronically. at least then i accept it as a "video game" where i can win money.

Why does anyone do anything. I enjoy the random walk of a craps game. I'm aware that the odds are slightly against me.

How good or bad other players are at BJ has no long term effect on your results; they're just as likely to help you as they are to hurt you.

I used to play on the craps machine with the big dice in the middle of the bubble. The min was a dollar and had chairs. After the clubs closed we go there sit and play and get free drinks to keep us drunk until sunrise. When the countdown begins at 10 secs to place your bet, we would yell it out and act like we had lots of money riding on it. Sometimes we had more excitement than the $10 tables at night. Pre-covid times were fun.

Not a big fan of any fancy thing boxes being involved with my casino style play. I like the physical simple nature of things. I know that all the electronic stuff has been studied and proven to have the odds they say they do and for a casino to skirt that sacred rule would be a death nail for them. I just like the community of people around in person and actual cards, or actual dice, or an actual ball rolling around, or an actual wheel or some kind of physical mechanism.

See this is what I'm talking about. I think this is the future...it's just the commradderie if the social settings and the electronic elements make MORE bettors comfortable playing because they can do so in their chair and get free booze

you make good points. the key is how much $$$ they are good for.

online casinos have ruined me for digital bj and roulette. if there are live dealers and an electronic hookup i am all for it as long as i am in the casino at the time.

Not if you’re sitting at a roundtable & there’s multiple people playing the same wheel at once regarding roulette. The thing is you won’t find single 0 with that set up always 0 & 00. Individual game video roulette seems rigged to me always once you start winning or you just always lose lol but can find single zero for the 2.5% house edge. Limits are low & can’t martingale much unless you’re trying to grind out a 1 dollar profit per spin or when you double up. 90 is the max bet I’ve seen on the individual single 0 video roulette games.
