    New york knicks about to blow away a 15 point lead going into 4th quarter

    I know they can go cold getting the points in 4th quarter but this is beyond bad even for the knicks against the hapless timberwolves.

    I hate 4th Q's. I had Celts large. And Clips ML (and - points) in a lot of parlays. Clips had all the momentum for a nice overtime. Jordan swats a rebound back into the basket (so lucky) and then Harden flops on the tying basket...

    I don't think sports are rigged but in the case of basketball officials play a large part in the outcome of games so it's easy to see why people say the NBA is "rigged."

    The three point rule saw to that.

    back in the 60's if your team had a 14 point lead with 8 minutes left your chances were 90 percent to win.
    Now if you are down double digits with 8 minutes left and you got a couple of Ray Allen, Joe Harris, Curry sharp shooter from distance types on the floor, you have a better than fighting chance to pull out the game.

    That's the main reason the fans love the three pointer, gives your team a chance to pull a win out of their ass.

    he lets the knicks sit on the lead and play defense like certain teams in hockey do when ahead entering the 3rd with a lead.

    look at the devils yesterday. up 2-1 entering the 3rd and lose 4-3. playing defense as your offense never works.
