There's a place called the Sugarcane Raw Bar in the Venetian that I think is super under rated
    China Poblano is good
    Momofuku pretty good
Scarpeta - very nice selection of fresh fish
Delmonico is pretty tight - never had a bad meal there
    Buchon is ok
Mon Ami Gabi was good back n the day...haven't eaten there in a long time
Going to try the X Pot when I am in town next

Remember all foods are shipped to the Vegas Desert in trucks.

Crops, slaughter houses, etc. don't exist near Nevada, Las Vegas.. Nothing grows fresh anywhere near Vegas. Nothing is fresh. You're eating frozen trucked in crap most of the time.

Most are hung over in the morning when rocking it in Vegas and burning the candle at both ends!!

Just order room service breakfast in Las Vegas and keep it easy and simple if you are staying in a halfway decent hotel on the strip. Keeping it simple and real for you fools. You will get a decent breakfast delivered to your room. Just pay and don't go cheap.

These top end hotels on the strip don't want to lose your business.

Probably over 10 years ago Jakester, living off memories now. I remember though and have opinions. I was a regular there for a long time and for many years. Rated and comp'd rooms and everything else under the sun in a few of the best hotels at the time.

Can gamble online now and home is where the heart is at. What can you do? .

The reason I ask is that room service in most Vegas hotels these days is a huge rip off with fees and it literally takes hours to show up. When it does the food is cold. That's been my recent experience at least. I would prefer to just go to a restaurant or coffee shop.

I was sick as a dog one time and stayed in the room at Paris for 2 days and ordered room service a few times.

I was surprised how good , fast and well priced it was.

This thread is making me feel like an 11am burger and beers breakfast at Binions with a few of the boys.

Great way to start the Vegas day!

When I was in college I worked at an Italian restaurant that was probably in the top 10 restaurants I've ever eaten at. I think I'm biased lol.

Check airfares from here right now! Like 15k return. (plus only 3000/day allowed to fly back in to my state, so could be stuck for months)

But as soon as airlines start trying to get us flying again with cheap flights, I'll be there with bells on.

Just checked. Cheapest seats this month are $4700 and most about $8000 for basic economy. Bus class 13k.

Cheap seats used to be as low as 800 bucks for two stop flights via Fiji/LA.

More like twenty years ago. The Mirage when it was really popular, Luxor when it was big stuff and Treasure Island. I've also stayed at the Paris, Flamingo, MGM a bunch but wasn't com'p. I was a regular in Vegas years ago.

Then I just got sick of it and stopped going. I had enough. If there was an SBR bash in Vegas that might push me to go again in the future.

I stayed at the Mirage twice a year from like 2002-2007 it was the best. I’ve heard it’s gone downhill.
