    Green Bay Packers: Super bowls 1 and 2.

    Miami Dolphins: Super bowls 7 and 8.

    Pittsburgh Steelers: Super bowls 9 and 10 and 13 and 14. The only one to do it twice.

    San Francisco 49ers: Super bowls 23 and 24.

    Dallas Cowboys: Super Bowls 27 and 28.

    Denver Broncos: Super bowls 32 and 33.

    New England Patriots: Supers 38 and 39.

    All of these teams, for the most part, kept their teams in tact. They also all had hall of fame quarterbacks. Bart Starr, Bob Griese, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, Troy Aikmen, John Elway, and Tom Brady.

    They also had great defenses. Defenses are said to win championships right? Many, many Hall of Famers on those teams. Not a lot is talked about with those defenses but they were all really good.

    They all also had ALL TIME GREAT coaches. Its a who's who of coaches on this list. Vince Lombardi, Don Shula, Chuck Noll, Bill Walsh, Jimmy Johnson, Mike Shanahan, and Bill Belicheck. All 7 of these guys would be in the top 10 coaches since the Super Bowl era. Might even be the top 7.

    They also took every teams best shot the next season, because after you win the 1st one, there is a target on your back. They all stayed hungry. One championship wasn't enough.

    So, to summerize, to win back to back super bowls, you will need these:


    • Hall of Fame quarterback.
    • A great defense.
    • One of the top 10 coaches of all time who can keep players hungry.
    • Lets be honest, a general manager and/or owner who can keep the team together after the 1st super bowl win.

    will they do it? maybe that is brady's ultimate win. move to a new team, win back to back, retire. the bucs are damn good.
