What can they do to make the nba watchable again
move the 3 pt line back or what.do you think the one and done kids have kill the nba, as imo they dont stay in school long enough to learn to play defense.it just so bad now imo, just street ball games to me...if i had to bet only this crap, i would stop betting today

If fouled you get 1 free throw that counts either 3 or 4.

that not true, you can talk to the average person on the street and most will say they could not give a damn about the nba, but love watching the college game....unless you are in the bad part of your city...

You can’t compare the NBA to college basketball. The NBA has the best of the best athletes, not necessarily players and shooters. The reason the NBA is what it is right now is because of the pay scale. Shooting 3’s and 3 point accuracy is rewarded, dominating the post pays the least. Moving the 3 point line won’t help. The thing that I notice the most about today’s NBA that is unwatchable is that no team knows how to double team and let the weakest link make them beat you. Teams lose the same way to different teams every night.
Think that has to do with the game today. Any team with a decent coaching and a star who knows what their doing is going to kill any double team coming at them, since 90% of the nba can hit an open three now.
Get rid of Adam Silver and roll back many changes.
Fixed. The average person on the street couldn't tell you anything about college ball.
Try it and see can they do it for and entire game. Let the 6th man or 2nd guy off the bench, or the weakest starter go for 40+ and die with the results.
lol i know you kidding on that one, or maybe i live in one of the best college basketball state here.nba is not on the chart here, but college basketball is at the top.......
one thing too that is missing the great rivals between teams too back in the day boston against lakers bulls against knicks or pistons..........hell when duke and unc play here in my state, everything stop for that game
With the way the players are today, all friends, let each other score at will, no defense, no intensity its a poor product that the league and media deny. Ratings are made up when hardly anyone watches. I really don't anyone that watches. Of the hundreds of ex athletes I know almost everyone watches NFL/ college football. Maybe half watch some baseball and college hoops. Maybe 4 or 5 watch the NBA occasionally. It's garbage.

It's funny how ppl will talk about how much better athletes there are in today's league.
But the fact is those Bulls, Pistons, Lakers, Spurs squads would crush these pathetic teams today.
Can you imagine the look on their faces when/if the players today faced a team who actually could & would play D against them??
They would be like "WTH is this refs?!?. That guy actually tried to get in my way when i drove to the rim!"
LOL. The NBA has never played defense. When they had man-to-man rules, they all played zone.
They used to allow guys to get up on guys and bang them around which is not really basketball.
The three-point shot is a bomb. These guys are just good.
Do away with the 3-point shot, do away with the shot clock. These would all be unpopular with fans because they like high scoring.
The great thing about the old days was all the funky shots people had. It was more street ball than today.
The product is a joke. The fact that Whites do not appreciate Blacks with basically no talent other than to shoot a ball, make millions per year. There can be no doubt that the game is dying. It is terrible and unwatchable.
Basketball is a young man's sport. The kids watch basketball to learn how to play. After that, it is boring.
I used to hate it when the old guys would complain about the dunk. Now I know what they were talking about.
Integrate with the WNBA. Seriously, what's the difference?

That's because basketball is the only team sport in which 1 superstar can put a team on his shoulders and carry them..
And since they are free & few between in basketball, the lucky teams who land them are the only ones with a shot
In other sports no matter how good a stud you have, he still needs a solid team around him.
And that's another thing that sucks about The NBA today.
There aren't as many superstars as there used to be.
Lebron basically had a red carpet to the Finals with zero competition
when was the last time you heard someone say, i cant wait for the weekend to see nba team a play nba team b.that all you need to know that the people are not watching this sport today
