    If Mahomes is not ruled out by concussion come Sunday........

    KC would be in violation of concussion protocol...

    Any NFL player who has had a concussion missed at least one week
    after being diagnosed....

    You guys are tracking this all wrong (almost positive). Yes, 10+ years ago, there were less hurdles players had to jump though - and guys came back quite quickly all the time. Then it got real strict a few years ago... but then the rules started loosening up again and guys have been coming back within a week again.

    * I have not read an article on this or anything, so I could be in error, but this is what it seems like -- especially for the 'stars.'

    Most of these soft millennial and gen z QB's would have been dead meat on the field
    back in the day when real football was played.

    This is why none of them can hold a candle to old QB's like Terry Bradshaw
    or even Brett Favre who had to deal with it to the end.

    I don't honestly care if the kid plays. He's got years ahead of him of guaranteed play off runs if not a few more rings. It won't hurt the team/city/fans etc to miss lose this one time to protect the future.
