    When is the last time a guy went through an entire season and made it on the hot seat from opening kick?? I can't believe he went the distance. There has to be a prop or future of first coach fired wasn't 0-14. I would be pissed if I made a bet on Gase and he made it the entire season.

    Great observation. Gase was "dead on arrival" all year and fired his Dc after the Las Vegas debacle. Yet, he survived to make sure the Jets did not get the first pick. Amazing

    i am not sure they are going to go offensive coordinator again who looks good because of their previous/current QB. Gase looked like shit in Miami and the Jets looked at him like gold cause of one Manning year.

    That would be a double positive move by the chargers. One, lynn is gone. Two, you take away your division rival's offensive coordinator, and maybe have the next great mind to go with an already loaded offense and the rookie of the year at Qb
