    Willie Taggart new FAU coach

    Florida Atlantic have officially named former Florida State HC Willie Taggart as their new head coach.


    It was reported earlier today that Taggart would eventually join the Owls, but the school made it official on Wednesday evening. Taggart, fresh off being fired from Florida State, takes over for Lane Kiffin, who departed for Ole Miss. Taggart is a spread offense coach like Kiffin, but Taggart hasn't had clear success on offense in a couple of seasons. Florida Atlantic are hoping this will be the destination Taggart can revive his offensive genius. Taggart has a career 56-62 coaching record.
