As much as I hate that they're being forced to play, I'm glad execs/coaches decided not to forfeit. Shows that they care enough not to let the rest of the team lose game checks over the inappropriate actions of a few.

Chiefs Bucs at the same time. I am guessing more people will watch the Broncos game than before now though. Good storyline.

Broncos practice squad WR Kendall Hinton, who is expected to start at QB Sunday vs. the Saints, has actually thrown a Pass TD more recently than Saints starting QB Taysom Hill, per @espnstatsandinfo.

Hinton's last Pass TD: Oct. 7, 2017 at Clemson when he was with Wake Forest.

Hill's last Pass TD: Nov. 26, 2016 vs Utah State when he was with BYU.

Game will be like 17-7. Denver will run a 4 minute offense the whole time

The Denver QB/WR will probably get injured on a sack. The Saints sack Ryan like 7 times last week. He wouldn't know how to read blitzes or switch plays after huddle. Then what is plan B for Denver?

How does line not go to 17 by kickoff? Broncos will not be able to move the ball. Saints defense has allowed 1 touchdown in the last 3 games.

The NFL sees the writing on the wall on how tough it's going to be to finish a season without a bubble.

They are in MAKE A POINT mode right now.

That's why you see them making the Broncos play w/out a QB and fined the Saints for their maskless celebration.

The Broncos were desperate enough for a quarterback that they asked the NFL to allow assistant coaches to play today against the Saints. But the league said no.

Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver reports that the Broncos asked if they could have one of their offensive quality control coaches, Justin Rascati or Rob Calabrese, play quarterback today. But the league would not allow it.

Rascati quarterbacked James Madison to the FCS national championship in 2004. Calabrese was a part-time quarterback at UCF from 2008 to 2012 and threw for 1,276 yards in his college career.

The tests on all three Broncos QBs, including Drew Lock, came back negative this morning per source. All three will miss today’s game as high risk close contacts.

    Good luck.
The only thing that could sink this bet if Denver rips off three first downs on their first possession all on the ground.
Next thing you know there's 6:40 left on the clock in the first and the game is still scoreless.
I'm sure everyone knows by now all rush all the time chews up a shitload of clock.

I had a similar thought earlier.

There seems to be a shitload of people who think Saints are 'free money' today.

Hello, with an exception or two there is no such thing as 'free money'

I noticed the Denver team total is 9.5
Like a shitty QB passing for 200 yards in a game, any NFL team can score 9.5 by accident.

"Kamara up the middle, oh no stripped of the ball, the ball is loose, it's a defensive scoop and score for Denver...."
How's the under 9.5 looking now all of a sudden with a Denver defensive TD.

defensive TD's happen once every 8-10 games

I wouldn't be using that angle to beat a -110 line

I think the Line for this game would be fair if the Broncos had a full week of practice and gameplan time to come up with some innovative and tricky shit using everything in their arsenal

the fact that they had zero real practice time and just some last minute over night prep for this game

means the Saints are about as close to free money as possible

remember this isn't just an average defense, they rank 2nd in the nfl vs the run. Now you give them the knowledge that they really only have to stop the run 90% of the time?

and the Wildcat QB they are using has never actually suited up for an NFL game, never taken an NFL hit

only been on the practice squad for 1 month, he's barely in practice shape. He was just a regular civilian joe after being cut on Sept 4 until Nov 4th

Royce Freeman should get more of the plays IMO

    should be ugly

OK, point taken and it's a valid one.

How about a Denver INT of Hill say around the 40 yard line, returned to the Saints 30 setting up a Denver FG or do I dare say it a Denver TD.

Hey, I'm a lifelong Giants fan, I really like Danny Jones, I've seen each and every 22 starts.
I've seen first hand what an interception can do and how it can disrupt the ebb and flow of a game.

I'm convinced there is nothing more devastating to a team then an interception.
14 point leads all of a sudden become a tie game in a blink on an eye.
Conversely a defensive pick can all of a sudden wake up an offense that has been sleep walking for most of a game.

No, because I can make a case for the over 9.5 TT and I can make a case for the under 9.5 TT

Like any wager there are two sides to consider and to be successful you must consider each side with a clear and level headed analytical mind.

There's just too many variables involved to say the under 9.5. is a safe and solid wager.

There are liberally a thousand of prop bets on the board today across the 12 game slate.
There are just so many better bets than that one.

This will get ugly quickly. I'm envisioning a 38-3 score for the Sainrs. If you think a WR in a practice squad can play without knowing the playbook on a day's notice you are delusional. Very few people in the world can play NFL QB with success and it takes years to learn the book and countless hours to practice timing with receivers.

Denver has a crap passing team even when their starting QB was in. A run heavy offense for the Broncos today is probably a good thing for the Broncos.

Broncos D keeps them in this game at home I believe.

Saints still testing out their shinny new toy at QB with Hill. He was comfy in the dome at home last week but this week he's gotta play at Denver in the elements.

I'm liking Denver +17 in a low scoring game.

I think the Falcons started a 45 year old QB in 1998 (he was the QB coach) who had NFL experience and they lost big.

This is WR/QB will be destoryed today. They will find out after he gets sacked a couple times and throws the ball to the other team. Saints defense may score all points today.
