$1K freeroll parlay for my 1st ever new 65" OLED TV + BM free $10K casino entry.

Got off to a good start with $1K tennis Chall win(preposted ticket..apparently nobody GAF).If & only if this parlay hits I'm finally upgrading from this dusty ass 10 yr. old Sanyo to a Sony 65" OLED tmw. Also got this message in my BM inbox. About to check it out.

Thanks Orb. only if the parlay hits though, still checking out some Samsung and LG models but that Sony is in the lead.

avoid Samsung all they make is junky LCD tech. definitely go OLED with Sony or maybe LG if you want to save a few bucks, Sony's video processing is the gold standard

Appreciate the device.. Been so dead ass broke the last 10 Black Fridays couldn't even upgrade from a refurbished $350 2010 Sanyo. Thankfully that's about to change. I'm definitely not a gamer, I'm all about picture quality so if you say Sony is the gold standard for that I'll take your word for it.

Looks nice, definitely more affordable. Only question.. is it worth it to pay double the price for OLED as opposed to LED?

depends what your viewing habits are and what you prioritize. if all you want is a super bright picture to watch cable tv, sports, and do most of your viewing during brightly lit afternoon hours, then you won't be fully maximizing the benefits of OLED

however, if you consider yourself a videophile who can't stand the weaknesses of LCD and really want perfect blacks, unlimited contrast, a true cinematic experience, and watch a lot of 4K HDR content in a dark room setting, OLED is a must. OLED handles sports fine as well of course, but where OLED really shines is when you feed it true 1080p and 4K content sources and not just junky compressed 720p cable/satellite feeds

Based on your description OLED def. sounds like the way to go considering I live in a studio apt. with blackout shades.

Goddamn just checked the score ..no OLED for tomorrow. I got tomorrow through Cyber Monday to hopefully win about 3K to get one. Could've hedged WASH ML & won a guaranteed $1300 today regardless who won instead of breaking even but I hate fvckin hedging unless absolutely necessary. Oh well.
