Game 6: Don't BET against BETTS

Dodgers won 4-2 in the last game.
They will win the series 4-2.
    It will be over tonight.

    Don't BET against Mookie BETTS.

Those who BET against BETTS will lose their BETS.

Game is Tuesday. But why do you think Snell on full rest won't give the Dodgers problems?

Sorry, it's tomorrow, not tonight ... you're right.

Just like the Lakers, something is messed up with this 4-2 ... I wouldn't go against it.

Also in terms of looking for a reasonable explanation - the Dodgers are definitely not interested in getting to Game 7, the time to hit is now (double meaning).... Betts will be the key player.

If you bet against Betts you are betting with the wrong bet.

GL to you man. Given the pitching situation along with MLB wanting a game 7 I'm going to lean Rays at plus money.

In terms of comparing to NBA, do you think the gap in talent from the Lakers to Heat is more or less the same as the Dodgers to Rays?

I considered betting Mookie Betts to win WS MVP before it began at +500 but noticed Kershaw was around +1100 or higher range.

Then the thought crossed my mind, how do books grade the bet if MLB actually names Co-MVP for the series?

I was too lazy to look up the rules / or ask at the time, but thought that an official Co-MVP would probably result in the wager being graded as a loss.

Does anybody know the answer to this?

I should add context. It wouldn't be the first time the Dodgers had WS Co-MVPs named:

The 1981 World Series Most Valuable Player Award was the first in Fall Classic history to be awarded to more than one player. It was split between Ron Cey (who went seven-for-twenty, hit .350, and drove in six runs), Pedro Guerrero (who went seven-for-twenty-one, hit .333, hit two home runs, and drove in seven runs), and catcher Steve Yeager (who went four-for-fourteen, hit .286, hit two home runs, and appeared behind the plate in all six games).

Then 2001 saw the Arizona Diamondbacks with Co-MVPs Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling.

It depends on the book rules. In golf if there’s a tie for first round leader prop for instance, the odds are split depending how many people tied for first. But it specifically will say “dead heat rules apply”

If it doesn’t mention anything I think they pay out full on both

Absolutely not a loss unless by some chance you were offered the option of co-MVPs. At the very worst it's dead heat rules and you get half the wager paid out.

    Tampa Bay of course.

I took them (Dodgers) in live but got really poor odds to what I was expecting, well... a win is a win.

Yes, it is 4-2. What are you talking about?
The Dodgers won the series 4 games to 2.

I was referring to the series result in my thread, not the final score of game 6 (how did you really expect me to guess the exact final score of game 6? What am I, a prophet? a soothsayer? No thanks!)
