Kingsbury didn't handle the last two FG endings well, but he has done an incredible job at Arizona
He inherited absolutely nothing in Arizona except garbage
He insisted on drafting Murray with alot of criticism
In a short time he has made them a legit contender
Amazing job from a guy I thought was a joke

their coach is good. questionable at the end going for the FG on 2nd down instead of getting closer but that guy needs to make that first fg regardless.

He kicks a 41 yd FG on 2nd down when he was running all over the defense and has two free downs to get closer. And then when basically the same situation arises again, he goes for a totally unnecessary and pointlessly risky (in many ways) deep throw.
Isn't there someone upstairs to say 'Wait, are you SURE you want to do this??'
(I have no opinion on freezing his own kicker. If it's unclear whether the other team should do it to you, then it's unclear whether YOU should do it to yourself.)

not a hard choice dumping rosen for murray he was in texas when murray went ape in high school and saw all that so he'd been sold on him for a long time. the defense is actually worse than it was in 2018 in yds per game. they won in spite of his bad decisions last night even those runs late seemed bad but they just happened to work. if they dont work then arizona isnt close enough for a fg. kingsbury has changed that franchise. they don't get murray without him deciding to move on from rosen. the growth in murray is noticeable as a possible pro bowler in just his 2nd year. he has that team competing now in a tough NFC west. can't deny they have made a quick jump to a contender.
the defense last night still allowed points but got key turnovers that changed the game. are they perfect? no. but they did what they needed to do to contribute to a win.

The guy can be the best coach in the world but he has the worst in game decision making I've seen in a while.
OK don't fire him but why not OUTSOURCE that to a 12 year old who is in the top 20% of his math class? Should be cheap and can't be dumber.

4th and 1 at Miami's 30, down 3... Arizona true win% probably 60% if they go for it. 30-40% if they attempt FG.
The head coach literally threw away 0.25 Wins right there.
